Being awake at 5.30am, an unfortunate side effect of an early kick off combined with a job in nightlife, I took the time to watch a few video's online, fan posts, pictures, that kinda thing to once again enjoy the wonder of yesterday.

Something that caught my eye was the look of unbridled joy on the face of our largely overlooked assistant gaffer, the mad Argie bastard who used to break legs for Ipswich, Spurs & West Aaaaaaaam, Mauricio Taricco.

Clearly valued by our beloved Mr Poyet, I don't recall him being mentioned, or more importantly credited, by any of us, so I wanted to just say cheers Mauricio, you are part, and I'm sure a ****ing major part, of all this good **** that's happening.

Now, we often pointed to Robertson not coming along with MON as a reason/excuse for his chronic failings in the job, so let's assume for a moment that the radgy Argentine is just as important to Gustavo, and give him a bit of a high 5 for his work.

    Mauricio, nice one marra <ok>

Good point that about MoN and Robertson, maybe it would have been different if they had teamed up. Taricco may be just as important to Poyet, canny combination so far like.

Yep, well put mate. The manager always takes the plaudits while he has a small army working away in the background always doing the graft, they're just as valuable to the club as Gus is for sure.

Take a bow and thanks from me lads. Keep up the great work.

In a way kinda glad Robertson didn't come to SAFC with MoN. Would have meant we would still be puttin up with the negative football he used. Things have worked out for the best really, loving the style of footie Gus has got us playing. I was running about the rig last night after that match, couldn't sleep, and am feeling rough today. Almost dozed off in the weekly safety meeting :/

IMO this whole Robertson thing has been totally overplayed, if he was that wonderful he'd be managing somewhere.

What is he doing now anyway?

The football under MON was absolutely disgraceful ....... as you suggest we're very lucky that things didn't work out <ok>

Good shout GG. He does enjoy things here and obviously has a strong impact on how we play. He should also help out new S American/ Argentinian contingent settle in well, which will be important
