I have to say that in fairness to utd they have a nice front 2 but I'd try to work mata into a midfield area and bring in some pace up front. Young, nano and weleck are trash at the level they seek to maintain (it could be gone already)

De gea improved so much that he's now a top 4 keeper but the reality is. Not one of their back line nor midfield is top 4. Not when Chelsea, City and arsenal are setting the pace in these areas, the only club with a problem in midfield is us

I'd back our front men any day, our back are bad too but we've not lost as many so I think despite their forward power they could be in for a management change this summer and a go at the Europa league...... Thought right now they are depending on the top 4 to be in the fa cup final for 7th to get a Europa spot........

    Amazing.

City Liverpool Cup final is utds hope for Europe talk about karma

Everton have the balls. We have to just batter them into submission over the next 5 our point tally just has to become to hot to handle.... Can we? Get it to f'n Suarez and let's find out

My point exactly, a Moyes side is typically decent, consistent, unadventurous. There's no excitement though or elegance or pizzaz. At Everton he found a knack for signing somewhat underrated or overlooked players who would take on a role, on a budget and got the most out of them. Man U wanted him to try and maximise the dross with spending as little as poss.

Agree with you there.. Everton are our nearest challengers for fourth, I think after the results against City, Spurs "New manager can do no wrong" bubble may start to deflate.
Only grabbed a point at Hull (still one point better than us mind..) but their next game is Everton at home and then Newcastle away...
Like you said MITO, time to take one game a time and try and get some separation between us and the rest of the teams fighting for fourth!

Anyone see Welbeck clutch his face to get a penalty when he was never touched?

Never watched motd, did they highlight Rooney's deliberate stamp?

Never watch MOTD, i watch the games on sky. Rooney`s "stamp" is very hard to judge, for some it may look deliberate for me it was unfortunate.

Rooney didn't even get a mention on MOTD. But just for Page. How can their match be first on when the Tyne/Weir Derby was certainly the biggest (and most excieting) match?

Simply because they can see Fergie's statue in the distance from their offics windows and MUFC being their main priority is the bottom line and proud motto over at BBC Salford.

Just read that big Tony Hateley has died(RIP)

Little bit of trivia that will help his memory live on at Anfield, when the government brought postcodes into being places like footy grounds and factories etc couldn't be given a street number so they had the choice postcode provided the first letter and number were valid for the area, Liverpool had won 4-0 with Hateley grabbing a hat trick, so our secretary of the day chose. L4 0TH.<whistle>
