What a nail biter of a win lol but at the end its three vital points that count. With the introduction of Zaha in place of Peter Whittingham i just wonder if this could mean the demise and eventual departure of Whitts. Fair play to Zaha he turned the game as soon as he come on. Brilliant goals by Bellamy and Jones. Well done lads!

He's simply too languid for this level. I'd really hoped that he would step up and be inspired, but once he skied that free kick from a position where he would have scored two years ago, I just thought "that's it, he's had it". He was even booed. A great shame but I really don't think well be seeing much more of him.

I thought the whole team was dreadful in the first half, but that was Whittinghams worst game this season imo. Having said that, to boo him off like some fans did was a disgrace!

Let's be honest, Whitts has struggled for over a year now, only his free kicks and corners have saved him so far.

He is too slow in open play and his passing has not been up to much of late, could be a rest could help but he's not getting any younger. He's been a good servant for Cardiff City but he has been paid well compared to us mortals. There can be no sentiment in football I think he will be shipped out before next season.

Yeah, but his free kicks have been pretty dire for eighteen months.

I was hoping that Whitts could make the step up but i dont see how we can accommodate him anymore ?

Will be sad to see him go if we stay up but will still do a job in the championship for some one.

To treat Whitts the way some fans did today is an absolute disgrace and makes me ashamed to support the same club as them. It's the sort of slum behaviour you would expect from Cockney fans or Leeds. Whitts has become new the whipping boy - remember what some of our fans did to Steve MCPhail? I admit you cannot play Whitts and Medel in the same team.
Medel will be next on their hit list I suspect. I'm praying Whitts gets on against the Jacks and blasts in a free kick. You tell 'em Bellers - they're all ******* *****.

His treatment by a section of our fans was appalling. However he should be dropped. Zaha will start against the Jacks.

Sort the defence out and the Jacks are there for the taking.

Gunner worries me big time. The game just passes him by at this level. I cant believe he will replace Whitts.

Why boo Whittingham? He might be off form but so are others. He's been our best player for a number of seasons and real fans should not jeer at any player.

As for today I think I saw the game differently to many others. It was shambolical. There was no shape to the side and the gap between the attack and defence allowed too much space for the opposition. Let's face it we were very very lucky today. If it wasn't for Marshall we could have lost by 3 or 4.

Having said that Jones played well as did Zaha (surprisingly) and Bellamy had his best game for a while. But much more needs to be done if we are to survive and I still see a role for Whittingham possibly after a few games rest.

I haven't seen all the games this season due to the time difference here, so just going by the games ive seen.

I think the way the teams been playing, a lot of time we are on the back foot, has covered up the mistakes and the difficulties they have had stepping up to the prem. Now we seem to be playing a more attack minded game, the errors are a lot more noticeable. Whitts has been struggling, no doubt about that, but then that could also be a confidence issue aswell.

When the team is struggling a lot of players heads drop, his seems to be doing it more than most. Maybe competition for his starting spot is the incentive he needs

At this time we find out who is up for the fight and who is ready to roll over.

Turner has not been playing at his best but he does give his all and has the never say die attitude, Whitts looks like he's ready to go out on a whisper.
He's been a brilliant servant for CCFC but if we want to fight out of the relegation spot there is no room for sentiment.

There was booing when he hit that free kick over.

When he was subbed there was loud cheering when his number came up.

At the moment Whitts is a target for some idiots with Turner not far behind.

Ok we can all see players not playing well and there were poor performances by a number of players but while they are on the pitch they need to be backed.

Thinking about Bellers' reaction, I guess Whitts was pretty down in the changing room at half time and it was evident for all the team to see.

Bellers show was saying what pretty much everyone has endorsed on here. Whatever you do, don't boo your own players. If you can't be positive then do/say nothing. Leave the decision to OGS. From the substitution onwards he got most right - apart from Mutch/Gunnar. <doh>

I think we were all silent at that - well gobsmacked rather than silent.

I think Mutch went off v Man U with stomach cramps so maybe the plan was to always take him off around the time he did.

I cant think of any other reason why that substitution was made.
