Our Marv turned the clock back with that second half performance, he was superb.....here is hoping Marv can put in many more performance's like that for the rest of the season!
I see parish was not on the bench, fielding was. Has parish thrown his toys out the pram ?? Our new man looks head and shoulders above our current two keepers.
'And can some please explain the formation in the second half??' It's called 'Desperation' or ' I fu**ed up first half and I'm a lucky manager'. All this tripe about 'well done SC for 2nd half changes' is RUBBISH. Sh*t 1st half and all down to SC. Playing W Elliot instead of M Elliot shows he doesn't know a good player from a bad one - W's another useless Gillett. And when he is going to start with Burns - what does the kid have to do. Reid wasn't at it today and ElAbd needs to curb it. We got out of jail today - Thank the Lord.
Always tries his hardest, tackles well, tracks back and a decent body to have in the mix for corners.
What happens when his loan spell is up? If he is good he'll probably move onto bigger things. We should sign a permanent keeper and not a loanee. If he goes after his loan spell, what happens if Fielding and Parish decide to move on due to being second best? We could have a situation like last year, Heaton moving on to bigger things, Gerken and Carey fed up of being second best.
Marv always gives 100% when he's on the pitch - great to see him get the goals Not sure that Wade Elliott gives us anything we have not got (especially if he plays like that) New keeper looks good to me - don't forget this was his first league game for 8 months On the radio SC praised the players not in the squad for what they did in the dressing room yesterday - as Parish was one of them I think we can assume he has not thrown his toys (also Moore said that Parish and Fielding had been good to him) Half time substitutions and bringing on Barnett later worked - I do take your point(s) that the starting XI did not, but at least he fixed it Loved SC's passion on the touchline This years team has something last years did not - a bit of spirit!! and .......... WE WON!!!!!!! bring on Tuesday, and get behind the lads
Good win, performances don't matter at the moment, just nice to get 3 points. Lucky we won as some of the other results were a bit unexpected.........Oldham winning at Swindle, Tranmere winning at MK Dons 3 more on Tuesday please, but it will be a much tougher test
This year we have someone who looks at the table, he mentioned we were out the bottom four enough. Last year we was at one stage 4 points from safety and then gave up.
