On top of everything that's gone on there tonight it should be amusing when the Leeds fans realise we're naming him in our squad.
Normally the day after the transfer window shuts. As it was a Friday I'd guess they've got til Monday and then they'll be officially released on Tuesday. Leeds have gone into meltdown with the owner's taxi being chased round the car park so he can't leave (Benny Hill music please Sky). If we name Stewart in our squad then they're likely to convince themselves we're going to recall him. We'd do it because of the peculiar way the 25 man squad rules work. We don't have to name Stewart, but we do have to name 3 of Stewart, Oxley, Prossie, and Henderson. Personally I'd leave Oxley out because we need special dispensation to recall him and play him anyway, so if we can get it to recall him we can get it to add him to the squad after it's been submitted.
I been reading the leeds site this morning, its comedy gold, i read the 20 page breakfast dday thread this morning, looking at the post times thinking, i know whats coming. Bang on cue around page 11 it all goes apeshit, well worth a read if you have a spare hour.
He hasnt actually been sold yet. He was sent on a 93 day emergency loan and at the end of this season he goes to leeds on a 3 1/2 year deal if memory serves me. He couldnt be sold as he had already played for 2 english clubs this season.
