The bloke is a waste of space and needs to go, as I have stated before after the last derby at home he had to be sacked and today proves why.

Simple not good enough, as for the regime the only way to fix that is to boycott.

I know Sunderland are poor but you can't afford to give any team a two goal lead.

No desire or effort and whilst we depend on the likes of shola we are
    Fcked.

i don't expect title challenges or silverware but I do expect some fcking effort especially in the derby

The worse thing is today was not a surprise

One day this club will wake from this coma

Pardew is a cock who had dined out on Carr's scouting for far too long.

No point in getting rid of him, though. Would the next Ashley puppet be any better?

Pards won`t walk because of his long contract ( would not risk losing all that cash he would get being released )
Would Cashley sack him I doubt it it would cost him money and as we all know money is his lifeblood and world.

If he went now then you have Joke waiting in the wings
I really do not know what the answer is to be honest
    Sad times indeed

I blame Lawro. He predicted us to win.

I don't think Pardew "lovers" exist to be honest, we just show affection for him when against all odds the team actually does something great.

Listen, he is the very best that these loons in charge would have us have ok?

So sadly he's the only thing keeping us from the managerial clutches of Joe Kinnear, you know that is FACT.
Frankly I'm surprised Pardew has lasted this long, I tipped JFK to be in by xmas and depending on what happens this week Joe might get his way.

Only can see though a change if Pardew walks which seems unlikely, although I think the board are piling on enough pressure to possibly provoke that.

They will not have liked his comments about replacing Cabaye, he looked very cheesed off in his interviews this week and now this result could prove too much.

So yeah I'd rather stick with Pardew than have the alternative. That really is how bad things are...

I'll hold my hand up. I've supported Pardew, but i do think he got it wrong today. Badly wrong.

As for wanting him out - who could we get who would work under Mike Ashley, who would also do a better job? Be careful what you wish for cos we all know who it would be!

Even if Pardew is sacked Ashley would never put Kinnear in charge. He would never risk an old man who has already had a heart attack once in his tenure. The stress would finish him off and I'm not joking about that.

And Ashley cares about that exactly why?

Joe doesn't believe that for a minute, thinks he's fitter than ever. If he's already at the club and can be promoted for a pittance, why worry?

Also, what makes you think JFK would feel any 'stress' from a club he couldn't care less about.
I'm damn sure it wasn't the 'stress' of mismanaging NUFC last time that caused his health problems.

He'll be the next manager no question for me...

Unless somehow Pardew manages to outlast him until we have a new owner or we find out that there really was a secret master plan that we didn't know about.

Personally I would get shot of him tomorrow BUT as people have already pointed out the biggest problem is above him with Ashley and Kinnear. Notice how Cattermole didn't leave for Stoke yesterday because Sunderland had no replacement, yet we take a year to replace Ba, a year to bring in Cisse after Carroll and failed to replace Cabaye this window even though it looked likely this could happen in August.

We've got to be careful what we wish for. I mean can you have imagined us wishing we had Derek 'Lambeezy' Llambias back at the club?

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if part of why Mike brought Joe in was to have the threat of him back as manager, looming in the background.

Pipes us down, puts Pardew in his place and saves money crucially. It was a very shrewd move for someone who has contempt for the supporters and no desire to succeed on the pitch...

Strange that nobody has mentioned the players?

Pardew wasn't on the pitch... 28 shots, 10 on target from us. 15 shots from the Mackems, 5 on target.

It's not hard to see where we're lacking.

Our two best strikers don't even belong to us... crazy days.

Will mention the players again... fair play to the Sunderland players, they showed desire and passion and fully deserved the result <ok>

Joker. the term 'shots' is a bit misleading.
It was 'hoof it to Shola... an hope he directs the ball near the target'..
Route one in the old Kinnear style one could say.

Yeah, fair enough... we were simply awful. At least now we know we'll get to play (and lose) against the unwashed again next season!

Ashley is a ruthless ****er granted and he cares **** all about bad press but a manager having another - this time fatal heart attack with his bloated corpse on the sidelines for the world to see could not be so easily ignored.

Mike Ashley doesn't believe there is any such thing as 'bad press', only press coverage. He doesn't mind how he gets it either.

    Parasite.

It would make the papers and everyone would say "how awful" despite abusing Kinnear, rightly so, previously.

But he'd also be blamed for insisting on being bullishly dumb enough to take the job and ultimately that's his choice to make based on his interpretation of what his doctors say.

Ashley wouldn't bat an eyelid and within a week of fuss it would be just added to the growing list of stupid decisions made during his tenure...

Can I ask about Carr's 'amazing scouting'.

    Who did he 'scout'?

French player of the year Cabaye, think a few people knew about him.

Ben Arfa? Already subject of a big move to Marseille & a former target for both Liverpool & Man United.

Sissokho? Linked, again, with Chelsea a year or 2 before.

Yanga M'Biwa? Linked with Arsenal for 2 years. Cisse? Linked with us for 2 years. Santon? Already had full Italy caps.

Help me out here, cos if you are referring to Tiote & Haidaira, Debuchy, Marveaux, then I'm afraid this is not a good scout.

Where are the unknown youth team gems this wonder scout has discovered? All you have done is sign established names at the right time.

The man who gets that credit is the one who gets them ahead of bigger clubs by paying in full, up front.

That man you all ****ing hate so much.

Name me a single, top class player that Carr found, that wasn't already well known to anyone that watches football beyond the Premier League. This is a genuine question, by the way, I just don't know where this reputation comes from.

I knew of all these players before they signed, and I'm not a ****ing scout!
