I think as we get closer the finish line the attitude will change just like it did last season, CH's attitude to chipping away at the opposition will change as we saw today we are a force to be reckoned with when go all out attack as we did in the last 20.

We where unlucky not to score and i expect more games to be edgy like this now up to the run in. The thing that frustrates us all is that we have to be on back foot and in desperation to muster up the passion to go for the kill, if CH could make these changes earlier the result would different im sure. We must also remember all teams have a had a little shake up with the transfer window and false confidence is in abundance this weekend, they cant all start winning every game after! We still have a good chance.

for the record im not an inner or an outer just say what i see.

In Colks defence im assuming it was with reference to freak results i mentioned Stoke and Man u today, just an example of what can happen in 1 game with 1 point in 4 places.

What worries me is that if Citeh really click then the Premiership record defeat could be on the cards. We would take that from the Binners!! If fills me full of dread!

Isn't Aguero injured? You may just keep our record intact.<ok><laugh>

But then again, City are irresistable, so maybe (and hopefully) not. <cheers>

I was indeed. We had a good game, 4-3, last year, maybe we can pull something off. everyone is beating everyone this season. I'm not saying that excuses our loses but it shows that few teams are finding any momentum at the bottom, other than maybe Sunderland.

We are deep in the **** and slowly sinking down lower and lower.

The decline has been for a long time now and I wonder what the board will think?

The only way to save your season is to get rid of that clueless idiot Hughton and quick! Steve Clarke would be an excellent choice to takeover and steady what is a sinking ship.

    Nice guys don't win anything.

One thing i will say is the last two games we have had value for money regardless of the results, edge of your seat matches and was only a few weeks ago everyone was complaining about boring defensive games. Well although im not happy with the result i would rather us now go out trying to win than sit back. Its all guns blazing now as we get closer to the finish line, no one on here can complain this league isnt exciting.

And another note about Fulham, i read some posts on here saying they have done the best in this window with transfers, todays result you wouldnt think that though would you? goes to show a little shake up can go either way and once things settle down in game or two we will get a better picture of how its panning out with the opposition around us. I cant see all the teams going on some huge confidence runs someone has to lose after all. Game on i say and cant wait for the next game now.

Their board doesn't see it like that, Hughton's remit was and is to keep them up, and to be fair there is very little chance of them being relegated now (not that there ever was, really.) Therefore Hughton will have done what was asked of him, he'll be going nowhere.

    Yeah right! <laugh>

Hughton is a real football genius isn't he!

He's spent what 20 Million Quid this season and made your worse! <ok>

McCarthy has spent fook all and we are challenging for a place off place.
