Cause it means he is out for six games, and he was brought into to cover for our injured players. So in theory, we brought an injured player to cover our injuries. Incompetent and Laughable are indeed the correct words tom describe this situation.
15 league games, 2 CL games and an FA Cup game as a minimum left this season, so 18+ games to go. Being out for a handful of them still leaves plenty of time to make an impact. 6 games is 2-3 weeks out, hardly a deal breaker given that weh ave months left of the season. Granted it isn't ideal but i don't get why it's a reason to bash the club...
But these are precisely the 6 games where we'll have the most shortages in midfield. If we had all our midfielders available I'd doubt we'd be even looking to get a CM on loan. (more lacking in forwards)
Agreed it'd be really good to have him available for the next 6 games. But we have players out injured longer than that and so we will still need the cover after those games. We found out he had a small back issue once he was with us to get his medical, at that point there is no opportunity to get someone else in so its the choice of get him and have him cover once he is back or don't get him and don't have him as cover later in the season. I'm in agreement it's the nexth andful of games where we could really use the depth. I just think people are blowing this way out of proportion.

And be present for the rest of the season after that, thus covering us for any more injuries. Do we really need him playing right now this second anyway? Wilshere and Rosicky are coming back. People are acting as if we needed him immediately, where it's pretty obvious that he's just cover for the rest of the season in case things go bad.
Annoying that he's injured but how about we wait and see what he does (I'm assuming he'll be back in 2 weeks) before crowning him God or saying he's useless.
