what he said. good news if true, not since summerbee and magic have had wide players capable of consistantly delivering a good ball into the box.
Sounds like the Bruce factor was a big influence on his decision to chose us over the other clubs .... quality.
Not yet, but reckons we've won the race due to his previous with SB, and that he'd much rather be playing than being an Arsenal squad player.
Nothing set in stone yet but with larsson soon to be a SAFC player it may calm down some histerical people on here for a day or 2, I just hope they havent seen the Gyan to Stoke rumour yet
Skysports.com understands that Sunderland are set to win the race to sign Seb Larsson. When the word understands is replaced with confirms, then i'll believe it.
Will be a good signing for you I reckon. The amount of goals we scored from decent deliveries this season proves that having a player who can whip in a ball are worth their weight in gold.
I'd be happy with him because after being 2 nil up and cruising last season at home he put two killer balls into the box and it ended in a draw. Good business if he signs.
Quality signing for me. If we had scored maybe 8 goals from set plays, we'd maybe have finished 3 places higher. A set piece specialist means that even when the team is having an off day, there's always a chance of something happening, Seb scores a few, and makes a few. We just need someone who is consistently good in the air to thrive on his crosses, i'd like to see Tina Turner get up for free kicks, as we saw when he first signed he can put them away if the delivery is right. Happy with this one
If true I'm delighted. Not only is it set pieces, it's effort and battle that he will bring to the team. Always working for the team from what I've seen. Absolutely brilliant news.
I've got everything crossed for this one, if we get Larsson for free having sold Henderson for 20m represents the best bit of business in our history atleast. Means we need a big man who's good in the air as one of our striking options. Imagine if Kenwyne had had Larsson whipping crosses into the box for him, he'd still be here today getting 15+ goals a year imo
