And to be honest, he has the right attitude of wanting to go out and EARN his money... not many footballers are like that anymore, and I applaud him
I was about to post exactly the same thing! I really feel for the guy, being stuck in the stands when you want to play. However, even though he had the right attitude and tried hard, dear god he was awful...I'm not trying to be mean, but when he was playing you could never feel safe when the ball was near him. And the fact we were paying £14k p/w!! That's monstrous, even for a loan!
It is awful, some habits die hard though, and it looks like we still aren't over the "paying riddiculous wages" stage yet I feel for him, becuase had he worked a little harder; or just been a little better, it may have been one of the other 5 loanees out in the stand.
He might have tried his hardest, but he was very poor. You are correct Tekkers - you never knew what he was going to do when attempting to clear the ball out of defence, OR where the ball would end up. Hope he finds another club - I hear Saints are interested. Should fit in well there..........
