Oi, it's already been mentioned… no Chairman bashing otherwise Spurf will get very upset.

3. Don't think we such players would have come to us, and if they did, doubt Levy would have been prepared to pay their wages.

4. I think we've simply got to accept that we won't get any where near top 4 with Sherwood in charge. It's what a lot of us said from the very start.

For me, this has been a wasted season. ****e football, no cohesion, dreadful purchases, bad management decisions made at board level, etc.

My only hope is that Levy either ****s off and let's someone who knows what he's doing take charge, or he finally wakes up, smells the coffee, and spends the money on getting in a decent manager - not wide-boy spivs, and no untried (ie. cheap) wannabes.

I'm just saying we got a far better ROI from Pav. 42 goals in 113 appearances costing £13.7m - Soldado has scored 10 goals in 23 games, most of which were pens. For me, that goalless record will stretch for far longer and will make the money spent seem like awful business.

We could have bought so much better.
None of them have added much if anything to the team.
In a crazy way a sort of expensive downgrade,
utter insanity.

Despite the tide of moaning on here I don't think we that bad some good quick movement forward. You have to give credit to Hull for pressing and defending well and their two front players (who have gelled right away) were always a threat.

A good game with some exciting football from both sides.

9. I cannot disagree with that!
<ok>

Looks like Sky couldn't manufacture a win for United by giving them 7 mins of Fergie Time! Jesus! Moyes is truly ****ed, isn't he!

Those glasses must have been very rosey in tint today to think that was a good game.

Yes but I think United's/Moyes' current predicament is the last of our worries. They'll sort it out quickly whilst us, I have no idea.

How do you define a good game? Only when your side wins?

That's my honest opinion but then I am not terminally depressed and ready to moan at every opportunity.

Good luck with the happy pills. <laugh>

Poor passing, even short passes incomplete. 66% possession which was never capitalised on. Gave the ball away too often. Poor link up play and understanding. No width. Lennon anonymous. Walker shoddy. Soldado hapless… only Adebayor and Eriksen looked decent today. Shall I go on? It wasn't a good game, it was painful. Positivity and support for the team is admirable Spurf when it's balanced but to say that was a good game by us is stretching it a bit, bordering on deluded.

I think that people are talking about two different things.
Did we play well? No. Was it an entertaining game for the neutral? I think so, yes.

We had a chance for a month to sort out our issues. We did nothing.

Soldado doesn't score, Defoe is off in march. Ade is known to be unreliable, and our midfield barely scores. There's absolutely no way we're making a top 4 finish. It's laughable.

And our failure to strengthen and push on will result in the likes of Lloris, vertonghen, paulinho and even sandro possibly leaving in the summer as they seek CL football.

The spine of our team is ripped out, and we start again. More profits spent on unproven players whilst us fans cross our fingers and hope for the best for yet another season.

Call me negative, but selling our assets is the story of our club and it will happen again.

I actually felt insulted watching the roger lloyd pack memorial video which focussed on our "to dare is to do" motto and how "the game is about glory". No, it's about profit and nothing else. Us fans get left in the dark and are treated like morons.

Anyway, rant over. Have a good evening, everyone! :)

Yeh., I've side from the beginning he wasn't right for Spurs. Far too slow for this league. Gives me the impression he's trying to run with Wellington-boots on., on heavy going at Cheltenham on a blistery day. No apparent sense of awareness. Much worse them Pav, if you ask me.

His Arthur Daley of a agent must be laughing all the way to the bank.

Sherwood's comments really don't help. We didn't deserve to win today and we didn't play well. As much as I like the idea of not having a pop at the refs we've tried it before and you end up with the short end of the stick. Bruce had a pop at the ref midweek and whilst he was right about his 'keeper being sent off very harshly the penalty claims were ridiculous, Sherwood didn't do the same when we had a terrible decision go against us against City. It showed a difference today, Long made 5 fouls today and didn't get booked, Soldado got booked for the exact same challenge that one of their players avoided a booking for and generally Taylor made decisions that went with the crowd. Not saying it made a difference in the result but I'm fed up of us always being the nice guys and getting no decisions, when's the last time one of our managers got a fine for their comments?

19. I've said, right from the very moment he was appointed, that United will do nothing under Moyes.

United will begin to fly when they get rid of him, and tell Fergie to **** off home to his race horses.

As for us... do we really ever fly? Not in the Levy era. A new stadium, a new chairman, a new owner who is prepared to invest heavily in the squad... it will come, one day, but I am under no illusions that we're going to have to put up with a lot of disappointment between now and then.

20. Not taking away anything from Hull in what was a generally entertaining game for the spectator but........
Soldado is either **** or is so deprived of confidence that he needs several sessions of counselling. Eriksen did some good stuff but is light weight and the same could be said of Bentaleb. Rose is tactically and positionally inept - so no change there. Lloris is an accident waiting to happen.
Ade worked his socks off and was at the heart of most of our best play. There just wasn't enough out there to support him. Paulinho was largely anonymous other than his goal. Which brings me to my main gripe: Sherwood.
It was clear that 4-4-2 wasn't working with Soldado providing neither a goal threat nor any credible support. Paulinho has been out for weeks and only has one U21 game under his belt. How the fu k did we finish the match with the only sub being Kane for an injured Ade with 5 to go??? There were decent options on the bench that would have improved the situation but none got tested.

Very disappointing - and on that showing, Sherwood (and his Brains Trust of Ferdinand and Freund) may not have the nous to do the job.
