Can't see him going anywhere, anytime soon mate, he's got to be absolutely loving this like. I am. Are you watching PDC? this is how you manage a football club.
Can you imagine if we'd had Gus last season? We'd be nowhere near the bottom of the league! The football they played today was tremendous. Gus did his homework and we executed his LAN to perfection. Get Colback signed up! He was awesome today. Ki as well. Grid cut looks the part and played the role very well.
Not to mention Kevin Ball MoN Eric Black Niall Quinn Ricky Sbragia Roy Keane Steve Bruce Terry Butcher Mick Buxton Peter Reid Howard Wilkinson Mick McCarthy Malcolm Crosby Dennis Smith That's all the managers I've ever seen since I started going at the young age of six, sat on carpet covered wooden block in the Fulwell end. Some decent managers there like but Gus has brought the best brand of football that i've ever seen.
First season up under Reidy when we finished 7th was the best I can recall. SKP, SNQ were the best attack I've seen in our colours. I'd love to see Scocco and Fletch go on and have the same impact!
Reid (god love him) couldn't lace Poyet's boots regarding footballing brain. We're a sexy outfit these days. Barca can **** off, I'd rather watch a poyet team. Our team. **** me I hurt with pride at the moment.
I genuinely, with deep rooted belief, can not wait for next season and starting equal. the man seems to get everything right, sometimes a club & a manager are just perfect, the way it all came together with the madness of him becoming available, PDC blowing it, it just all seems right. For the first time since Reid we all have absolute faith & unity behind a manager, we didn't need the PDC knee slides this time, we don't need that from Gus, the interview he gave, he just oozes class. It's up to Ellis now how far we go with this man in charge, keeping Alonso, Ki & Borini, a good quality CB with pace. We didn't even need Scocco lads, and I can't wait to see him let loose on an immobile Hull defence at a buoyant SOL, and it will be ****ing buoyant after today. ****ing great days, great days.
Posh twat, I used to have to stand at the back on the fence and hang on for dear life for fear of breaking my neck if I fell. It's early doors for Gus yet like but if he carries on like this and Ellis continues to back him, where will it lead to? is this the guy for that ever elusive 'next level'? I think so anyway.
Ya twat, you've just ****ing hyped that game right up and me too and I won't be home for it, absolutely gutted mate. Should be a cracking atmosphere after today, **** me if we can't raise the roof after todays performance then when can we?
