These guys will find some loop holes to get around these "FFP" whatever they are. As for the player limit, couldn't they technically just loan a whole load of players out? A bit like what Chelsea does right now. It's a friggin joke.
What a horrible decision that one was. On the back of the Suarez penalty win vs. Villa the commentators and pundits were mostly saying that you need to give the benefit of the doubt to the striker; I wonder if they felt the same after the Rose red? After all, the linesman's view was obscured by Rose's legs, so I can only assume that's what he did.
To be honest, I think they would've won anyway, I didn't watch the game and didn't know the score, but when I came home I was expecting something like a 4-1 for City. I know most of us had some hopes that Spurs had a chance, but looking at their lineup, their midfield is on such a lower level compared to City, they basically had no chance, this Spurs team is not really on the same level as their team from previous seasons, Spurs had some top quality midfield in seasons gone by.
Even Tim Sherwood accepted they still would've lost even if Rose had stayed on. Poor decision but City were going to win that game regardless.
Maybe. Maybe not. Spurs were getting back into the game so you never know and then that killed any chances of them getting anything. Just sick of City gaining bullshit decisions like Fergie's Manure did.
Cattermole has gone to Stoke, because of course if there's one thing this Stoke team need, it's a player who'll go in hard.
City don't really need to strengthen, us on the other hand, clearly did, we still need a new striker.
Umm no, we do need a striker, even if we manage to win the league, we'd still need a new striker, even Wenger has talked about how we're short up front. You're just in lala denial land if you think we don't need a new striker, virtually every Arsenal fan are agreed on this point, that Arsenal need a new top quality striker. Bendtner as back up for Giroud, isn't good enough, plus top clubs should have at least 4, we currently have 2 in Bendtner and Giroud, so even if you cling to the Bendtner as back up argument, it still fails.
And even Giroud isn't top quality - he wouldn't start for any of your close rivals, he's had a good season, but to win the league he should be your back up striker, not your best one.
He'd start for Chelsea i reckon. He's a quality player and compliments our style very well. Whether he is good enough as our first choice is yet to be concluded but we are definately in need of another option up top. We all said that we may have to wait until Summer to get the striekr we want though. It's a shame we didn't get a stop-gap loan sorted but we'll have to wait and see how our current lot get on.
