I swear everything that can go wrong is going wrong, the wind is a joke there, our 2 centre halfs have gone off injured, and that was the flukiest goal I've ever seen, against the run of play! I can see why Moyes bought on Welbeck, as we're behind and already 2 substitutes used, so if he had brought on Fletcher, then we would only be able to get on 1 more attacking player in the 2nd half
I can't bring myself to believe that RVP, Rooney and Mata are not enough attacking threat to score against Stoke. Moyes seemed to think that ... and brought on Welbeck. Like I say, I can't understand that. We'll see if it works or not.
Good goal from RVP. Have to say, I think they'd score that goal without Welbeck onthe pitch, though. <backpeddlingfuriously>
Here we go again. It's not the players, it's the game plan and the tactics. Here was an ideal chance to climb to 5th place, particularly against an over-achieving Stoke, and what happens, we spend the arse-end of the game chasing a draw just to stand still in the table instead of ripping the place apart to get nearer a CL place.
We have been the most unlucky team this season......... About time Welbeck started scoring when it Matas
