It's glaringly obvious the difference not having Dembélé out there makes to our midfield play. Never thought I'd say that but he's been good lately!

Did we really pay £26 for Soldado? On today's performance, I'd take back Sergei Rebrov. This is painful to watch! Don't worry… we can bring Defoe on at half time… ah bugger :(

  5. The only good news for us, as things stand, is that both United and Everton are losing.

    Great day for Liverpool.

I think this could be the final nail in the coffin to our title bid.

So the opportunity is there to make up ground or at least maintain our position and we're not taking it.

To be fair £26 sounds about right for him.

  12. Exactly.

To anyone with even a damaged footballing brain, this was always going to be the season where we had a great chance to challenge for the title, let alone compete for top 4, but Levy seems to have been oblivious to it all.

What a complete and utter **** up!

Don't get me started on Levy. We all know about my opinions of our Chairman. Wallet first, football second.

Hull have pressed really well but that apart we have produced enough IMO second half ought to produce a turn around and a win.

Another slow start, which we're used to, hopefully we'll get the second half reaction that we're used to. It was a really poor goal to concede and everything about our attacking has been inconsistent, occasional counterattacks, occasional periods of intensity and rare attacks down the flank. Need to show more shape in the second half, it's all a bit messy at the moment with players poppoing up all over the pitch.

Don't know how Hull don't have at least one player booked by now, Jelavic led with his arm and knee on Vertonghen and McShane was very cynically fouling Soldado.

We're making it easy for it to look like Hull are making it hard (if you follow that). Passing's dreadful - is it windy there? Sometimes it seems like wind can make a difference to players' radars in general. But we should still be able to pass better.

Why no mention on my commentary of Walker's sliding in two-footed? Looking a bit of a liability today.

Even though overall he's disappointed so far I can still see things in Soldado. there was a nice, crisp ball or two - one for Ade's volley - a decent strike that was blocked. I know, I know - it's crumbs really. I just think he has technique.

Ref's been poor for both sides.

I'd take off Soldado now as he's offered us nothing. Bring Chadli on the left and push Eriksen further forward, who's looked our brightest player. We can command the midfield better and get more width to our game. Should stretch it more.
