I wish I could believe you..For both clubs, as we will never win the league or get into the CL, unless some oil billionaire comes in and buys one of us, the derbies and cup games are what we play for.

I am a Geordie who has supported Sunderland for 50 years, do I hate Newcastle no...do I want to beat them yes, will I enjoy the banter at the quiz tonight with my mag team mates... yes. The pub I watched the match in was in Durham the staff were 50:50 dressed in RW and BW shirts the clientele were probably Sunderland biased the manager is a mackem, great atmosphere in the pub and I think that would have been the case whoever won

 

If he does it wont be for losing this game, or not qualifying for Europe, or getting knocked out of the Cup. I think he is seriously pissed off about the transfer situation, and though he hasn't openly criticised the board he has said more by omission a few times now. We've seen how MA reacts to criticism with what he's done with the press. Pards may not have openly criticised him but I'm sure MA has noticed his comments. or lack of them when asked to discus the board and Cabaye.
