Classic FIFA goal there - GK parries the ball to the only position on the whole pitch a Sunderland player can score from

Could have done with Borini against Everton to tuck away that pen. Think that's 3 this season and all been very good pens.

Disagree, I'm still adamant that Sturridge should have taken it, gave him the chance at the hat trick. He fluffed it and hopefully tries to make up for it in the coming games.

Followed by a red card for swinging his arm back into the Swansea player.

Newcastle sell Cabaye and fail to bring in cover during the window. Losing 2-0 to Sunderland. Much worse transfer window than us. Don't think we'll suffer as much but goes to show how much difference one player can make -- see also Ozil for Arsenal (perhaps Mata for Man Utd, too?).

Glad Borini has scored again. Good penalty from all accounts.

West Ham winning against Swansea as well. Big Sam currently on a good run.

Everton got Traore and he could be good or could be a dud. H is a unit and should fit the prem. Spurs have so many players it is a matter of can they get them to click? United I do have an eye on. If Mata, RVP, and Rooney start to get into a groove, we will need to take max points and just not let them catch up!

Yeah, despite how poor Tottenham and UTd have been, we only have a cushion of around 3 points and our great GD against our rivals. Utd and Tottenham could still click this season. I think we'll continue to get results - the second half of our seasons are usually better (although we usually start a lot less stronly) -- but Spurs and Man Utd will be trying to stay with us all the way and have the teams to do it, too. We just need to concentrate on one game at a time, continue to play our fluid game and grind out results if the goals start to dry up.

Now I have no coaching experience and don't own a UEFA License.. but if I was Swansea manager and playing against West Ham, crossing the ball would not be my prefer way to try and go get a goal back. Swansea must have put in about 20 crosses today, all of which have been easily dealt with by a West Ham defender.

Scored the winner against them last time as well and scored his only PL goal for us against them in that 6-0 win.

Loves playing them it seems <ok>

    Borini- Newcastle
    Suarez-Norwich
    Gerrard-Everton

seems players have joy with a certain side. Strange but can't complain! Also after a nights drunken sleep, I am just about over the whole kono thing. <laugh>

Question though.... with Borini seeming to be in good form and probably sticking around next year. Does that push Aspas out or do we then have the four strikers in Suarez, Studge, Borini, Aspas? Also with Suso coming back that is another wide position that fills up. Which also leads to why we were pushing the boat out for Salah and Kono with these players along with the likes of Sterling, Ibe, Moses playing wide?

    Barca x Valencia time! <diva>
