To be honest, there's no way McDermott would come back anyway surely? I know even if GFH turned around with Haigh and said we aren't selling to Cellino, I wouldn't go back after being treated like that!
Most people get caught between a rock and a hard place. We Leeds supporters just seem to keep getting caught between a bunch of w@nkers and another bunch of w@ankers. You really, really couldn't make it up. And here was me thinking that 'Crossroads' was the worst soap ever! 'Leeds Affairs' is now the all time worst soap opera.
So the National Television Awards for 2014 best performance in an ongoing drama (the soap opera award) will now be between Haley Cropper, Mick Carter, and the Leeds Board. My money's on the Leeds Board, as no one else could write this.
There are times in life when you don't know whether to laugh or cry. Given that crying never does much for me, I'm taking the laugh option. I'm going to enjoy the hilarity of the soap opera and save the tears for the state of the club I love for another day.
As the Italian's lawyer has no power whatsoever until a takeover goes through, McD should just turn up for work as normal.
So GFH are going to bring him back, the takeover will then go through and he will be sacked again, what the hell is going on.
Phil Hay @PhilHayYEP This is ridiculous. After taking legal advice, I'm now told that Brian McDermott won't be attending today. Under the circumstances I think that would be wise of BM.
They're pissing themselves on Sky as Bryn just told geoff that cellini has sacked 20 odd managers and geoff says "no way" Bryn says "well he's on his 3rd now and he only took over last night"
If I was McDermott I'd be saying "Why on earth would I come back when you're still planning to sell to this charlatan?"
