Don't make the mistake of politely asking if anyone can help finding tickets .......... I did and got my own thread.

Their idea of 'witty repartee' will do doubt be 'Ban this 'Shameless' Bastard!'

I agree, I would be a hypocrite trying to blog a ticket in front of a regular fan. Smug however has no such qualms and would happily pretend he walks 1000 miles every other week to take a seat at the stadium of ****e if you can give him a ticket. The seat he would sit on will be less plastic.

The regular fans, season ticket holders/branch members/locals, get their tickets first which is quite right.

After that, the tickets may go to general sale meaning anyone can buy one, in Sunderland's case that's unlikely.

The tickets I was asking about are the allocation that all league clubs are given.

Some of those tickets are used by the club's staff etc and some, which aren't taken up, are sold to anyone who asks and fancies a jolly at Wembley.

So, these neutral tickets are not for 'regular fans' of either club playing in the final, they're for anyone who wants them including me.

A friend has just found 4 at Notts County as an example.
