SuperSwan: Do you have to have your signature font so large? Most of us on here aren't blind yet!

If you think Cardiff will be fighting against promotion, it does show how deluded you are. What Swans fans are struggling to understand is they are going to come straight back down (hopefully not humiliated). Huw is treating this as a payday. He is not going to invest much...he never has.

Meanwhile Cardiff is rebuilding and restructuring. We will come through this in a better financial position. The owners know we still have to be competitive so I suggest 10th -12th is the lowest we will be at Christmas. We will then see if we can make a run at the playoffs. By the end of Season 2012/2013 Cardiff will be above the Swans again.

Depends what happens in the next 6 weeks or so I guess.
As it stands today i.e rudderless, no one to score 15+ goals in a season I would say mid table is the best you can hope for.

To many ifs & buts now. Need to see who the manager is 1st, then see who he signs.
I hope you can keep up the good work from the last 4/5 seasons but today I do not see it happening.

Need to bump this thread or start a new one in August and see what happens from now until then <ok>

"Our Malaysians investors will be involved in the club next season, whether we are promoted or not,” said Jenkins. “They stood by us after the play-off final and they will stand by the club whatever happens this season. “They want to see the club progress even further than it has already.“They have come to Cardiff and recognised the passion here and they have a lot of time for Wales.".“They are football fans and very successful businessmen and saw a club in Wales they could get involved with and we should be grateful to them.“Progress has been made, but there is still a lot more to be done.“I was in Malaysia recently to discuss various scenarios. We are in regular communication and it is a relationship which works very well.”Jenkins said the Malaysian backers were now keen to see the club move forward on an economically sustainable footing.'

Really annoys you doesn't Sicklyswan. Fighting against relegation...you idiot!! Start thinking about your own problems. Who have you bought?? Danny Graham for 3.5m and......oh nobody...but at least you have been linked with a 33 year old striker who has scored 1 goal in 4 seasons and a youngster who can't get first team football at Spurs...yay...go Huw!!! This could be very very embarrassing for you Sickly...just hide out on your board.

We are not rudderless. That is a pretty silly statement to be honest. It's not like the club has no direction. The club has its owners who are committed to moving forward on a stable footing. They are looking at getting a manager who understands this. The club will also have money available for transfers. A new manager will settle and and identify what is needed. And to be honest any manager who is thinking of Cardiff knows exactly what we squad we have and has already been thinking about transfer targets.

I think you will be looking at our squad by the start of season and saying...hey...not too bad. Norwich have signed a couple of average strikers and nothing else so far...Swansea: 1 player...hardly time to panic yet.

No offence was intended but I think I did just that.

By rudderless I meant without a manager actually working with the players, instilling his thoughts and tactics etc

I hope I will be looking at your squad in August at saying at least not bad, hopefully more.

Taking those two factors back in to context of how things stand, I stand by my earlier comment of mid table at best (as of today)
