Lennons issues with hair continues. Someone with hair gone, baldy in. Imagine stokes and griffiths up front together. Not 1 head of hair between them
I DIDN'T GET TO SAY GOODBYE JOE LEDLEY has lifted the lid on his gut wrenching decision to quit Celtic. And he admits it still hurts that he left Scotland without saying goodbye to his team-mates and fans. Ledley, who left for Crystal Palace 12 days ago, said :"That really upset me. I will always regret the fact that I didn't get the chance to say a proper goodbye." The whirlwind move ended a trophy-laden three & a half years at Celtic Park. But it happened so fast he didn't have the opportunity to say farewell. "I didn't really have time to think about it. Maybe it was a good thing as leaving a club like Celtic is a really hard thing to do. He revealed; "We'd spoken about a new deal at Celtic and were still weighing a few things up. Do I stay or do I go? I was genuinely thinking about staying. I thought I would end up staying. I had told most of the boys I thought I'd be staying. But I came into training the next morning and there was talk I could be leaving. "The next day the bid was accepted and I was on my way. "It was a good deal for Celtic because they got some money for me and it was a good deal for me too. He added: "Celtic is a fantastic club, they'll always be my team. I got on with everyone at the club, the lads were fantastic. My family were settled and I was really happy in Glasgow. But sometimes things happen in football." Bring him home
I do believe, Rebel, we both suggested ledley was the kind of player you dont really notice until he is no longer there. Had Joe been there on Saturday our midfield would have been much stronger IMO
One hundred percent. I noticed earlier on that Brown was showing up on the left and Johansen on the right. I thought it was a new plan..... Turned out they were just getting ran all over the shop by Flood, Robson and pawlett. We'd have still been outnumbered but Joe would have shut them down. He wasn't a water carrier by any stretch of the imagination but he was great at cutting down options..... I miss him.
