I didn't get the second striker I wanted, or the attacking midfielder, but on balance, I'm well happy with the signings we made, and better still, Catts stayed!

He does my ****ing head in but we are better with him than without!

To b e fair mate, when we were bottom with 1 point, for about 100 years, we'd have killed our own hamster for a window like this.

Alonso is the left back we've prayed for, the Argies are good cover and a potentially 'wide awake' striker.

If Birdcroft is half the badly spelled midfield player we hope then we can keep up our slow grinding creep up the table.

An FA Cup run would be canny anaral <ok>

Good window for us, lets just hope Scocco and Bridcutt settle quickly and Wes Brown does not turn into a chocolate tea pot again.

I've just got this feeling we are gonna get to the FA Cup semi's. That, and the League Cup final, plus staying up, I just have this ridiculous premonition that Gus is gonna get Manager Of The Year.

Yes it could all go tits up tomorrow, and it's always gonna be 1 step forward 2 steps back, when you're rebuilding, and we've got some ****ing hard games coming up, but something tells me this is going to be a season I'll remember for a long, long time. For the right reasons.

Can't wait to see Brittlecup in action. Love ball playing midfielder and now we've got a choice of three (with Ki and Colback) and retained one of the best back 4 guardians in the league in Catts. Sorry Seb and Gards, no room at the in, no light at the end of the tunnel and no contract at the end of the season.

Why so hard on these two, they both give their all when picked, as does cats, in my opinion none of them will take us to the next level, but with support they might just keep us were we are.

These past couple of weeks keep getting better and better - last night I got my tickets for the cup final confirmed and today got tickets for the cope del rey semi final next week in Madrid (Real v Atletico). A draw or better against the mags and I'm really really going to have a good night out tonight!!!<cheers>

Why so hard on them? I'm hardly abusing them. Where were you when Jozy has been betting actual abuse? <doh>

I believe they're inept when it comes to our present philosophy. It's a footballing assessment. We won't push on until these players move on and are replaced with personal who can.
