I'd definitely take McCormack. One of the best midfielders in the Championship in my opinion. Can't believe Leeds sacked McDermott though. Complete lunacy. No wonder they can't get out of the Championship! Too busy cut off their head every couple of years.

I believe the sacking is due to a big new Italian owner, who sees Leeds as Cagliari's Watford. They are literally becoming Feeds! If the Italians are bringing in big bucks, presumably the manager is deemed a secondary concern, with an Italian lined up to train the youngsters in the right way.

Don't see us doing anything now

If CH doesn't sign a CAM how will it affect the fans view of him?, surely most fans see the lack of quality in the midfield.

I see the other teams around us strengthening and we haven't done too much and our only creative attacking midfielder wants out.

I can't see how we can't sign someone in that area to be honest. The issue is that if we do sign someone will CH actually use him?

I tell you what, if we don't sign anyone and Hoolahan stays CH needs to throw him in the squad for tomorrow and get him to prove to everyone how good he thinks he is.

Not saying it would have been the answer, but Bridcutt to Sunderland for £3m.
Had we signed him, both Tettey and Fer could have pushed further up the pitch and then...who knows?
£3m is bugger all in the bigger picture of trying to survive in this division.

I did say earlier in the thread that I was hoping for Bridcutt, massive potential but hey we missed out on that one.
