An hour ago he released a statement saying he'd stay. Said he was loyal to Brian McDermott, was proud to be made Leeds captain and looked forward to continuing to play under McDermott at Leeds. Now, Brian has been sacked. Ross McCormack went onto SSN, live on the phone, and sounded absolutely shell-shocked. Said he's disappointed, gutted, devastated etc. Refused to state that he would not leave Leeds, instead saying that it's probably too late for a move now too.

Now that's what I call a curveball. He joins Maxi Rodriguez, David Trezeguet and Gabriel Heinze at Newell's Old Boys.
Absolutely gutted at losing all of our star players and our manager during that huge meltdown this January... oh, hang on.
Osvaldo was sounding out potential clubs at the start of the window with a transfer broker. Interesting..
Just learnt that the Newell's Old Boys stadium is called Estadio Marcelo Bielsa. They must really like him.
Has to be something. I would have thought he would have moved there later in his career. He has at least 7-8 yrs left, if he stays major injury free.
