use your collective imagination.. most probably a fit bird called Kate instructing a fitness workout routine on TV whilst wearing minimal clothing.. right? right.
Multi lingual British born reporter, was at Sky Sports HD in Germany & now at the UK Sky Sports http://youtu.be/GN2ODElvVVI
Just found a Daily Mail story about sky signing her up, including a few pics. The best reader comment below was: "Why has someone spray-painted her gold?"
Is she the one who keeps saying 'San Ettian' in an overly French accent? I hate English people speaking in perfect foreign accents. I hardly think kids on the continent learning English have to practice their Geordie, Scouse or even BBC English so why do we insist on copying their accents when we speak foreignese? Does my 'ead in. Especially when it's French. Also if you did it with Mandarin or Urdu people would call you racist.
Bit harsh. "Before moving to London, Kate lived in Spain, France and Germany, and is fluent in Spanish, French, and German, as well as English."
She may have just learnt from someone with a French accent. When I was doing French one of the comments my teacher made on parents evening was that I had a really natural sounding French accent when I was speaking in French, even down to having the pauses in sentences in the right place. I didn't even know I was talking in a different accent to normal, it was just because the teacher was a natural french speaker I'd picked it up. When she's speaking in English and then has a couple of French words thrown in it may bring the French accent out for those words, especially as it's a name.
