Hi everyone, im really hoping this happens as nzonzi obviously doesnt want to be here and cattermole wont get as many red cards as Nzonzi, and it seems that the sunderland board really rate him and dont want to lose him. Odemwingie swap for Jones is one of the best bits of business to have been done in this transfer window. We will be in the bottom 3 in the next few games but after that I dont see us having any problems staying out of trouble. I thought we deserved something against Sunderland even though they were the better team first 25 mins. I think that some people on this board have gone a bit over the top IMO. Im happy with whats been done in this transfer window and the weakest players still in the team are what Pulis left us, who are, walters, Adam, Nzonzi (who is not interested one bit) Whelan, Wilson (who is absolutely ****!!).

    Up the potters!!!!!

    and dont panic

It looks as if once again Stoke are about to take one of our cast offs, or agent as red cards and giving away balls easily to ensure your relegation. O and also he is a piss head

Welcome back ricc,I totally agree with your assessment of the players we have with ,maybe the exception being Adam, who at least does have a bit of fire in his belly! I am one of those you are referring to who has gone OTT but I could see the other night that Hughes subs were on a par with TP`s. Crouch off replaced by Walters, when we had a lad called Giudetti sitting there waiting for an opportunity to prove himself!! Odemwingie looked good, and am so glad we managed to offload that yard dog Jones!! I`ll try and KTF but to be honest ,if we don`t get Cattermole, with our current crop of midfielders I can`t see how we are going to get out of this, not forgetting we were desperately looking for a decent striker!

Looks like the Cattermole deal has fallen throughaccording to news reports. Oh dear, looks like we`re stuck with a midfield of between,N`Zonzi,Whelan,Palacios,Adam and Ireland. Our Strikers,Crouch,Walters Arnautovic(sh--e)Odemwingie and Assaidi.I find it hard to be confident with those players

thanks very much Joe, dont get me wrong when he took asaaidi off i was shouting at my laptop, I couldnt understand the reasoning behind that as I thought he was the one posing most threat. The Guidetti decision I can kind of understand where Hughes is coming from, after the first game when Guidetti only got about 10 minutes he went straight to the media moaning about how he should be starting, so Hughes left him out and then he goes to a swedish newspaper saying he might aswell have stayed at Man city. The problem is that if Hughes had started him or even bought him on at half time it would have sent a message out to the other players that if you go to the media complaining you have a better chance of starting. I must say I arent over the moon with his attitude since he has joined us and it seems he thinks that he has a right to start every game.

i Think crouch, Guidetti (if he sorts his attitude out), Odemwingie (who I rate) will be ok, the midfield worries me though, Assaidi and Ireland would be in but im struggling after that

Totally with you re Guidetti's attitude Ricc - even though I'm no fan of Hughes yet, he had no option but leave him on the bench.

Just a thought. During previous windows we've always signed on deadline day and consequently been shafted too (paying over the odds rather than crap players). We've done some good deals early this window and some of the Stoke boards on fb are complaining about the lack of action! Conna please some people.

I also would like rid of N'Zonzi. I'm just waiting to hear his excuse for his poor form now.

There will be lots of transfer going on after this season, with all the rats leaving the sinking ship. I never saw any bids for our players, they are usual going for free.

    WELCOME BACK RIC <ok>
Good post and apart from Adam I agree with you 100 per cent. As for the Sunderland fan??? You said he's crap but you still have him. I wasn't that bothered tbh if he signed or not.
I just hope that we play a 442 today and have a bloody good go at Utd. Can't wait to see Odemchikenwingie, I hope up front with Assaidi and hopefully Guidetti on both wings. Midfield erm.. Wilson, IF Huth is fit Adam and I guess Walters, at least he will track back. Or Maybe Palacios who can pass forwards unlike N'Zonzi and Whelan.

Enjoy the game guys.. Up the Mighty Potters
