Apparently when he left Man Utd to Fulham we had a deal in place to sign Berbatov, it was agreed with levy and Fergie hinted Berba was going back to us, then Levy pulled the plug on the deal and never explained why. Having Berba and Bale in the team, not sure what AVB would have done!
