OK.So what happens to the City player if he dived?.........and when do we get to replay the City game? I was once told that cheats don't prosper while at school. They do in our football!
Marriner's carving out quite a reputation for himself at WHL. A rugby tackle on Bale is a dive, and a clean tackle by Rose and dive by Dzeko is a pen. Maybe he should carefully consider his opinion, then call it the other way. The red flag, to me, is that he doesn't know how to spell his own name.
Hull have lost their last four premier league games and failed to score in any. Bruce has played 5 in defence with wingbacks so I'm expecting him to set the team up to at least get a draw.
Spot on about the torres and soldado comparison. - the only problem being that we don't have an abundance of goals from midfield like Chelsea do.
This is probably our most important league game if the season. Drop points here and I think that's our top 4 challenge over. Win here, with players coming back then who knows. I'm taking the glass half full approach today.
So Vertonghen, Paulinho, Sandro and Kaboul are apparently fit, so what will Sherwood do today. My guess Lloris Walker Vertonghen Dawson Rose Sandro Paulinho Lennon Dembele Eriksen Adebayor Let's see your guesses. Pint in the Bill Nic for any correct answers
As in things could be a lot worse! We could be west ham for a start! We do have a great squad as good as any I have seen in my time supporting spurs we just need to get them playing and sort out our best 11.
todays team... Lloris Walker Vertongen Dawson Rose Eriksen Sandro Dembele Lennon Adebayor Soldado subs Brad Defoe Belenteb Paulinio Chadli Chiriches Kaboul
Walker Vertonghen Chiriches Rose Gylfi Paulinho Dembele (if fit, otherwise Sandro) Lennon Eiriksen Ade
I'm not convinced any of the ones coming back from injury will start, other than one player to replace dembele. I'm guessing you've accidentally put eriksen and Lennon on the wrong flanks, RCL? Or are you in the inverted winger camp?
And as powerspurs will tell you, players can play anywhere, there is little difference between left and right or midfield and attack, pass or shoot, all done with the same limbs so don't worry where players are picked, makes little difference
Benny has just had an absolute mare against Burnley. Maybe Tots is right after all? That hurt saying that.
