Hearty welcome, and do be careful lad, otherwise you'll end up being a 'poorveteranretireegambler'. I'm not, thank God, but will admit it was a close call at times!
Ive calmed down a little now, made it to lecture. Only to sit at the back and talk to you guys on my phone! I got a text from the group in work last night highlighting the above horse and was told to back it as early as possible. I completely forgot about it, i had an assignment deadline catching up with me in the early hours of this morning and it was the last thing on my mind. Untill i checked this morning. 8/1 into 2/1 in some places now! As i said in my first message on here, i only post the horses ive been told to back and never make out that im the most knowledgeable when it comes to horses. ....but surely? We'll see what happens. Talk soon lads
Which system have you used to select this one Rudy...Fav, 2ndFav....Eyecatchers...It's all far to confusing for me? Good Luck!
Been told the horse I tipped is going to be pulled. Owners haven't got the money they wanted on. Absolute nightmare
Wasnt planning to mate saving up for punchestown next year, how ever if The Don's Harristown runs i will come down
Start of Chinese New Year and the 'Year Of The Horse', but James Given's Kung Hei Fat Choy (USA) is not entered in the near future. Quel dommage! That fellow just had to win again right about now!
That's a very happy coincidence Heis - I met the Don at the Newmarket trip in November (what a really nice bloke btw) and he was telling me and my mate about his horse. My mate asked me what it was called ealier this week and i couldn't remember. thanks for that
That's how to make sure a horse doesn't win at Lingfield - Sommersturm who drifted like a barge was dropped out the stalls giving a head start to all then sits at the back and then attempts to make its ground half way through by coming four wide and no surprise to find nothing in the straight. I must say my selection in the next Evacusafe Lady has also drifted today which is not encouraging from the J.Ryan stable.
anyone reckon any of the proposed channel 4 cards will go ahead tomorrow? the rain is setting in here in London now and so i already think that Sandown has little chance
Don't know what happened to kykate -not seen the race but sorry if any followed me in with it -that's racing!!
Thought I postedthe winner for that race rudebwoy must have lost conection on my phone bloody thing granville was a whole minute faster than the rest on conparative times to distance and I took 11s earlier sorry all for not checking my post sods law big winner and cant boom oh well I'll count the pennies instead
Hope you got more pennies than there are punctuation marks in your post I'll give you a anyway Sandown are planning an all chase card tomorrow, but will have a 7-45am inspection. I'm probably about 40-50 miles away but it's been pishing down most of the day - just the intensity that varies! I don't know Sandown's drainage capabilities, but I'll be surprised if it goes ahead.
Good for you uncle -these phones can be a pain in trying to interact on the net! Glad you won though!
Sod the punctuation marks, I would rather share info than pass English again. One side of me hopes the rain stops for the racing the other side loves the work it provides , I have a horrible feeling I will be perched on roofs most of the weekend while most regulars here curse the sand rats , lol
I normally take the galaxy tab with me now and link through the hotspot , what a twit I am today oh well cheers anyway and sorry mine won
Never be sorry for having a winner Uncle My phone was never great on internet (Glalaxy Nexus) then I solved the problem - dropped it into the washing up bowl. New i-phone works fine
Just looked at Results on RP. Apart from Swivel (odds on) I don't recognise any of those winners. ****ing useless. I really shouldn't be cluttering up the Daily Thread; I'll give it a bad name.
He is a really nice guy isnt he Dan and his horse is a real cracker. I think he will be even better next year and give him a lot of fun!
