Bangura gone (contract paid up) it terms of wages and transfer paid someone needs the sack for that fiasco!
Ach cheer up ya miserable bunch of whiny bitches. We have a good team, we play nice attacking football and we should reach the champs league group stage more often than not to slug it out with the big boys. Bind us together Lord, bind us together Lord....
Debatable, highly debatable. Plus as soon as we as a group stop discussing, moaning about and generally critiquing the club is the day we become like the Huns. Never let them rest on their laurels.
I can accept this to a degree but ledley wants to stay we have been told - but only for what he believes is a reasonable sum. Could be balls but i heard Celtic had told him and Sammy if they want to stay they have to accept less than they were on. We have to be in a position to offer players what they are worth (what they will get elsewhere) Where would be the harm in signing ledley up on a 4 year deal, keep him the remainder of this season and maybe next and then sell him for his true worth?
Last three games, we've been playing our most attractive football for a few years, IMHO I don't think the squad's as bad as some folk say - Johansen looks a cracker and Van Dijk is one of the best defenders I've ever seen at Celtic - if not the best. The way the team is shaped now re-distributing the ball around if we lose possession whilst forcing teams onto the back foot is much much more pleasing than the occasionally battle-y, happy to let teams come on to us style we've seen recently. I'd love us to sign a goalscoring 6ft 3 centre forward but I don't see it happening. As much as anything in this window, I want to keep Forster, Matthews, Commons, Ambrose etc etc We could still lose a lot from this current squad
I cant really disagree too much. My frustration is why sell Ledley who has been at the heart of those impressive performances and buy a Griffiths who wont improve anything. The money we spend Griffiths could have been used to keep Ledley and maybe even sign up others like Matthews and Lustig who on long term contracts could be sold for a big profit in a year or two
That and buying players like Fridjonson or whatever he's called - I think he's ceased to exist. Was he only bought to do the Paradise Windfall at half time once? His break from competitive play was the same as Johansen's and, clearly, Johansen is good enough to get into the team and this bhoy is just going to be some emergency squad member before he gets loaned out to some Danish team or something
We get rid of Daryl Murphy and buy Bangura and never play him, Send Bangura on loan and Buy Balde (and never play him) Release Bangura and Balde will take his place on out on loan and then we replace him in the never pays role with Fridjohnsson
This The current transfer policy at Celtic seems to involve drawing a circle in the dirt and having a medicine man throw chicken bones into said circle before making predictions on transfer targets. please log in to view this image "I see a thumb and blue flashing lights. Does that mean anything to you?"
I've been working for the past couple of hours (shock to the system that by the way) so what's happening?
Julian Draxler hasn't moved to Arsenal and is having lunch with Neil Lennon at Celtic park now He's not signing, Celtic just asked him up to borrow some money off him if the move to Arsenal happens
watching perth glory v melbourne victory on record, Melbourne have an exceptional player called Rogic, he would be excellent warming the bench at celtic...
