Yeah, that's what I heard last night.

I stand by my post above. I've never thought Hoolahan anything other than miserable and arrogant, so I'm not surprised or offended.

His style is great, but he simply isn't good enough anymore.

He's been an incredible servant and one of the absolute key men to get Norwich where they are today and it's not surprising he doesn't want to be associated with Hughton's Norwich any longer than he has to be, but these comments are something different to pulling the shirt on and giving your all on the pitch - a good player will use their negative energy to perform as much as their positive energy.

IMO Kate Riley has scored a massive own goal here - players will have their guard up around her after this.

There are too many 'eye-witness' accounts of this for me to put much credibility in any. You only have to look at the hacking trial to see how low these scum-bag journos will stoop. (And you can quote me on that!).

Hi RBF bor, I originally said release him if he wants a transfer. No point in keeping a player who doesn't want to wear the shirt. The alternative now is to loan him out to another club so he can get the games he wants but that is no guarantee that another club will give him games.

As far as Lambert is concerned he is now, as our country cousins would say, history. That is where he now belongs . . . in our past . . . we move on.

Regards to the King of Denmark. LOL.

It's hard to think of a bigger anachronism than to call any modern Premier League player a servant.

Throughout that period Wes has benefitted as much as anyone. He's become a PL player, an international player, and obtained financial security that is beyond the imagination of most of us. All whilst doing the thing that he loves. This is possibly the first time that things have not been on an upward curve for him personally and he immediately chucks his toys out of his pram.

I just cannot understand what he expects the NCFC to do. It seems to me that he has much more reason to be angry at Lambert for not making a real offer, or with his agent for encouraging him to sign the lucrative 3 year deal that he seemed so pleased with.

It's interesting to hear posters on here call a player arrogant whilst many of your number can so easily cast aside a manager and star players who catapulted your club from the third tier to the top flight. Did they surpass all the players they came up against through ability? No, they did it by giving their absolute all on the training ground and on the field. <doh>

lambert has played wes off against his employers by dangling the carrot. pretty clever really.

what would i do if i were hughton?

i'd stick hoolahan straight into the first team tomorrow and tell him to show me why i was right not to sell him.

Clever? Puerile I'd say (assuming that is actually what he sees himself as doing). <ok>

Apart from the fact that your post is pretty incoherent <doh>, when I said arrogant I meant he is arrogant as an individual. He's always come across as rating his own ability very highly. It's just his personality trait. It has nothing to do with his fantastic performances for us over the years. And I think he has been a fantastic player for us irrespective of his personality, but his recent behaviour has simply reaffirmed my opinion of him. He is well within his rights to want to leave, and to slag off Norwich if he so wishes. I couldn't care less now.

You say that I'm incoherent - he's apparently arrogant for rating his own ability very highly, but has put in fantastic performances over the years and has been a fantastic player. <laugh>

It's no wonder top players don't stick around long in Norfolk with fans' attitudes like that really is it? He is one of the great Norwich players of all time.
