What the sod were you doing in that desolate waste of nothingness for nearly a week? Your car get nicked?
Long story, in brief. Got wet, got out of breath, ticker went mental, mental ticker stopped, mental ticker got restarted. stay in hospital & came home for a stretch off work Could see the ground from my hospital room, couldn't see the sea though.
Christ Ben, I hope you're back up and running soon. How old are ya btw? No Im not trying to groom you so don't go getting excited again... You saw the game before all this I hope?
Take it easy Cheshire! However, if you're thinking of doing that again, next time we'll send a full on Brownie in his pink jumper and karaoke kit around to your hospital bed! Now there's an incentive to stay well and away from Southend...only joking, take good care!
Cheers Happy I'm up & around now but not running. To be fair I didn't do much running before Saturday. I'm 47 & already knew I had congenital heart disease. I'd a few problems with breathlessness since the summer but had been given the all clear from my GP on Thursday. "it's not you heart, your heart's fine, you can start exercising again" 36 hours later for 45 minutes before flatlining & getting restarted my heart rate didn't dip below 248 beats per minute. He was popular with the Mrs when we went in yesterday. The hospital in Southend were absolutely brilliant (even sorted a bed for the Mrs) & ran every test they could & are certain they've recognized the problem which can be controlled with drugs. I'm feeling Ok, but banned from matches 'til further notice.
Sorry to hear all that Ben, time to change doctors maybe. Be good to know when you're back on the road again. Maybe if we get a couple of wins you can relax a bit.
Crikey Ben. Hope your well. Glad to hear they've found the real problem. Didn't you have your lad with you? Must have been awful for him. I reckon you were probably in the ambulance that came speeding past me en route out of Sputend.
I hope you pulled over Lad was a bit shook up afterwards, but he called the ambulance & sorted everything at home. Said he didn't give it much thought at the time.
Not being funny but maybe you should self-impose a ban on here for a little while. You like to get worked up and it can't be doing you any favours, particularly on transfer deadline day. Come back once Long and Jelavic have each got a couple of hat-tricks, relegation has been staved off and Assem has dropped his name change idea.
I'm always calm, especially on here, I spend over half my time laughing at either the ****e others have written or the ****e I am. I'm more interested in what Sydney was doing last night to make him sleep through the alarm this morning.
He needs to do what he thinks is right for him and his well-being. If he thinks it's better to live a day as a City than a lifetime as a Tiger then who am I to argue? He's said before on here that he's not a small chap and it sounds like the heart is giving him a final written warning. Life's all about priorities and only he can choose what those are for him.
Nothing, and that's what makes me so annoyed lol. Didn't go out last night because I needed to be up at 7.30.
