Sky Sources telling us that QPR have signed both Kevin Doyle and Aaron Hughes on loans for the remainder of the season. More to follow...

He's the Sky reporter who's at our training ground today.

Both make sense though not exactly exciting, hope a couple of loans leaves room for a marquee signing.

    Exactly this.
I mentioned on another thread that he seems to have gone for experience to get us across the line. We need another forward and preferably one with a decent record

I suggested doyle last night. Experienced and can cut it at championship level

I would be happy if he signed considering the shambles this window has been for us

Hughes is 34 and look at our record of ageing Fulham signings....

3 of our back 4 will have a combined age of over 100 if he signs.

Just seen its only a loan so thats something.

He's obviously just cover. He can play anywhere in the back four or DCM - makes sense to me.

I like to look at the reaction of the supporters selling to get an idea of what we're getting and Fulham fans are all wishing him the best and thanking him for the service he's given them. I'm happy to get an experienced body in to cover the defence...and as you say with a loan deal you can't go too wrong.

Well wolves fans were pssing themselves at the thought of Henry coming to us so you could be right.

I was just hoping he didnt want a 2.5 year deal or something stupid.

I've always liked Doyle. Hasn't been great lately but I'm hoping he reignites his career with us. He's wanted to leave Wolves for a while now and maybe he'll see this as an opportunity to show what he's made of. Don't see him as an Austin replacement although he may have to try to be.

I assume that Hughes will go straight into the side tomorrow at RB allowing BAE to return to his LB berth.....

So, I presume the Irish Rs are smiling??:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Hughes and Doyle coming in to join to join Dunne and Murphy!? The craic in the dressing room should certainly be good anyway. To be sure. <ok>

not really from my point of view. Doyle hasn't played well for a few years. wolves couldn't give him away in the summer.

Just seen Doyle has only scored 3 league 1 goals all season, I think Id prefer Zamora!

Doyle is not the player he was and even then he didn't score goals. Might do a job at hold up play etc but we need a goalscorer.

Didn't know the Fulham lad was Irish
