Played for Poyet at Brighton, so he thinks he can make the step up, hes been one of the most consistent midfielders in this league, Whittingham stepped up with the same kind of reputation.
Charlton following the Watford model ... http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25961144 5 players signed in January from clubs their owner also owns in Belgium and Hungary ... perhaps Yann kermorgant will be moving to Bournemouth after all ...
What's that, one good season, get all high and mighty about the "wonderful football" they play, only to choke in a playoff final and find themselves 32 points off top spot halfway through the next season?
What! really! i'd guess that he'd have more chance to be a starter there, so could be true. All the clubs that want him are within a couple of points anyway. Didn't realise hes already 32, i guess its the best time to offload if the offers right.
.. I find it strange that he didn't go to Swansea ... in Europe... passing style under a footballing legend as manager and with players like Michu, Bony, Dyer Chico Flores, Ashley Williams and Vorm to boot ... despite their current position unlikely to be involved in the relegation scrap at the end of the season IMHO ... do I detect ££££££ signs perhaps???
Sky sources understand that Swansea have lodged a £2.5million bid for Leicester forward Jeffrey Schlupp.
I heard this. Interesting one, he hasn't been involved in the squad much recently... Swansea are making some weird signings. Like N'Gog from Bolton. I mean, really!?!?!?
Looks as if Pulis is getting his work done "early". If they end up with Ince, Ledley and Danns, i'd say they have a good chance at staying up, players hungry to impress in the Prem.
@RobTannerMerc: As reported elsewhere, I understand Swansea have bid £2.5 million for Jeff Schlupp but it was instantly rejected. He is not for sale. #lcfc Im surprised the bid was that high for a player that cant get in our team. As a striker I would have snapped their hand off at that price. Its his versatility which makes him valuable As its deadline day we should see how desperate Swansea are. We should hold out for 4M Im not saying he is worth that but you have to take advantage of the circumstances
I wouldn't sell Jeff Schlupp for £2.5 million - he is still very young and has great potential - his scoring rate at all levels is excellent - at youth level exceptional - we haven't had that many players that have scored 3 in a game full stop - never mind on debut ... obviously we on here know far more about footie than Sir Alex Ferguson, Michael Laudrup and Rene Mueulensteen ... but I still wouldn't sell Jeff for £2.5 million ... as an aside West Ham have failed in their attempt to sign ........................... Max Gradel
SSN We are hearing that Wigan, Blackburn and Leeds are all eyeing moves for Leicester City striker Martyn Waghorn before the transfer window closes.
