His contract is up, isn't it? I like Guly, but at his age and with some of the young players coming up I really can't see re-signing him. Although if the team wants to give him a 1-2 year deal to play in some Cup matches and be a mentor of sorts I wouldn't be averse.

It's a pretty straightforward statement. We don't have a tonne of players. We aren't expected to bring several in over the next day and a half. Ergo, we'll be busy in the summer or we'll need the U-16s to fill out the matchday squad.

 

I just found the idea of an eighteen year old looking average against Arsenal ludicrously vague. He either looked poor or average - but average in that context is not an insult. So, we'll agree, he meant poor. However, I thought he looked pretty good - or do I mean average within the context?

It's just what I think. We are getting rid of a lot of dead wood now to buy big in the summer. If I was on about stuff I have been told I would have said.

 

Especially so when Mauricio hasn't committed beyond the summer, Katharina and Krueger will have their feet well under the table and a new chairman is expected to be appointed. It's not going to be a quiet summer.

Heard something about Monaco being interested next summer, which of course would mean no fee for Blackpool. Attractive paypacket for Ince though - hence he prefers a loan move in the meantime or a big salary but Blackpool pushing for a full transfer.
