If it fills all the diameters then really McLaren haven't done anything wrong, they actually followed the rules.

It reminds me of when Ferrari added an extra flap to the rear wing and claimed it was used to open the DRS flap. It's just as ridiculous an interpretation of the rules, I can't believe the FIA have allowed them to get away with it, especially as McLaren approached them about it last year, giving them time to clarify the rules. They're so inconsistent, no way would this be considered legal if Lotus had done it.

Fia unhappy with 2 noses, reckon that's the Ferrari and Mercedes with those slide slope noses. *edit* nope it's red Bull and Mercedes in that their noses are more easily damaged than the majority on purpose ofc.
I'de be far more worried about the pointy ones to be honest. But the FIA like shooting themselves in the foot so its will be the safest and or nicest looking that go
