I think it's what's underneath the wing they'd be most interested in.

You can see on the Red Bull the airflow's much more controlled and that it separates about halfway up the DRS flap. It's also interesting what's on the inside of the Red Bull end plate, the lines are almost travelling vertically in the flow attached to the back of the rear wing, gives an idea of just how hard these cars work the air and how much downforce they must generate. On the Red Bull I'd guess the area they'd look to improve is the end of the beam wing and trying to keep the flow attached right up to the endplate. The Toro Rosso looks a mess, it doesn't look like the airflow ever really attaches to the rear wing properly because there's too much turbulence upstream.

So that does suggest no 'push to pass' button just delicate action of throttle and engine maps maybe?

Also interesting that Jensen said that all Merc engined cars were running different engine testing programs and pooling data!!!!! Great co-operation, hope it helps them all.

Sensible from Jenson, and thanks BLS for posting the article, very interesting. Explained the ERS situation well ;) No more push to pass.

And Williams do look a force don't they!

I'm amazed that there wasn't additional testing days scheduled given the new power units, or allowing some way for manufacturers to get some of the teething issues resolved prior to the first official test.

It wouldn't surprise me if they have to up the engine allowance for the season. Once they start running these things in anger, they could be popping all over the place.

In reckon Williams are running light to attract sponsors, normally them and Sauber will do something like this. Bit worried about the Renault engine issues, not keen on the idea of Lewis Hamilton winning every race this season, need the RBR to be strong to stopm him doing it.

We've not even remotely seen any team open up these new cars, so what we can take from to first two days of testing is absolutely nothing.

We may have a clearer picture by last day of testing, but expect that to change again and again as teams start to dial in these new cars and engines.

I wouldn't be having concerns of any driver walking it just yet... It could be a real mixed bag.

I'd prefer that to a Vettel dominance obviously, but still, I'm not a fan of any dominance really.

Unfortunately Frijn's Caterham hasn't quite made it all the way back down the pit lane. He's being pushed back to the garage

Depends if his front wing falls off again.

Don't think we'll see much 'action' off the track as no one seems to be giving it the full beans so far. Maybe they'll turn it on a bit more now they've all had two days of system checks etc.
