I cant understand that someone plays with a shoulder which has just "popped" out and put back in. Strange thing is how easily he was spreading and rising his arms during the celebrations of his goal. Then i was wandering how long they keep player on the pitch after possible dislocated shoulder. Surely they would taking him off after Henrys goal? If he really had a dislocated shoulder its certain that he wont play for a long time. If that is true Tony should go straight away and phone to Blackburns chairman and ask how much ?
I find it hard to believe that he dislocated his shoulder, had it put back in and played on. As Flyer says these injuries take months to heal and hurt a lot. Even one that pops out and back in by itself is very painful and bruised for some time. Here's hoping.
Charlie's fiancée Bianca responded with this tweet when asked by R's fans about Charlie's condition............ ''hes good not to sore this morning'' (sic)
Was this the reason why Hull pulled out of signing him or was it something else? Judging by the tunnel cam footage he seems to wear a lot of strapping so there must be some underlying history. Dont get me wrong I'm very impressed with Charlie but hope that this injury is not a recurring one.
I partially dislocated my shoulder whilst playing many years ago and there was no way I could carry on. I couldn't move my arm or shoulder and it was agony.
See it's easy if you know how to deal with it. Don't worry, Charlie is fine
Did anyone see, later on in the game, when a Bolton player came over to him and really obviously barged into him sideways? I was sure it was to get him sent off with injury.
So with 2 days to go we have Charlie a bit worse for wear, hitchcock on loan leaving us AJ who makes 1 in 3 games & BZ who is basically on cut price sale to anyone who'll have him. Less than ideal situation
If it popped out and then was put back in cleanly, he'll be fine within a week or two. Many NFL players dislocate their shoulders during the game and are fine to play the next weekend
If you watch the goal clips you can see that Charlie clearly doesn't want a boisterous celebration after scoring indicating with his head that his shoulder isn't good.
I had a frozen shoulder a few years ago, it took nine months to return to normal. Everyday movements that you take for granted were sheer agony when it was at it's worst. Charlie certainly has my sympathy...
Queens, how dare you even begin to harbour any doubts about the wisdom of our Harold. Bit negative isn't it? Some on here are never pleased. We score one goal at least most games and that's often enough to bag us three points! Only joking. Welcome to the dark side.
BBC Injury news - Chelsea 0-0 West Ham Joey O'Brien I'm hearing that West Ham defender Joey O'Brien will be sidelined for 10 to 12 weeks with the dislocated shoulder he sustained at Stamford Bridge tonight. That slightly takes the gloss of the result for Big Sam.
that's only because they play a few minutes and have major pain killers. it does more damage in the long term. we could play him for 2 or 3 games and then he'd miss the season.
This happens to rugby league quite regularly. They pop a shoulder out, the trainer pops it back in and they continue to play without a second thought. Downtime ................. about a minute, if that.
