I'd rather Arsenal won it out of those three, tbh. Any success that City or Chavs have is hollow imo, because it's just been bought with vast amounts of outside money that have no place in the game.

Oh well, we'll just have to win it then. Problem sorted.

citys form book is now monumental.

    http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/form-guide.html

won 11 or last 12 with just a draw as no 12. won all last 6.

in fairness to arsenal and spurs they have had better form than us recently but thats still due to the big two games for us away after christmas... we were after all TOP before that.

all in all of the next 5 i think we should aim to win win win win win... i think we can gap these f'rs now and get ready for the big two coming to anfield. a cushion will make those nice games to counter attack in.

injuries have stuffed up everton. their recent record is now won 2 draw 2 lost 2... so out of 18 points thier haul is 8.

now mind you we on the other hand had smith on the bench and no midfield subs and played the big two rich clubs away and managed only 2 more points than that.

#3 wins in last 4 with draw... = championship form right now.

    #5347
  8. Yet they are only about seven points ahead of us!

which shows how bad their form was before they cottoned onto the fact that pellegrini demanded them to actually work.. now everyone is pulling the same way and his way so they are a runaway train.

Not seeing anyone really capable of keeping up with the pace right now. i still look to february for arsenal as a month of death and a big task and frankly... chelsea with et'to up front doesn't give me pause.

I know iuts been covered but just once more

When told about Mourinho's comments, he replied: "He can't take it, can he?

"He can't take it because we've out-tactic-ed him, out-witted him. He just can't cope. He can tell me all he wants. I don't give a s***e, to be honest. I love to see Chelsea players moaning at the referee, trying to intimidate the officials, and Jose jumping up and down in his technical area. It's great to see.

"It was a fantastic, resilient performance today by the players. It's all about frustrating a team that's got world-class players. Tactically we got it right."

I dont like fat Sam but his comments are a delight to read there

    yeah but 38 0-0 draws = relegation.

its only tactically right if you've no ambition bar a 0-0.

queue pictures of fat sam getting tonked twice by citeh..... so you managed to draw v chelsea... big whoop fat sam.

I hate him as much as mourinho both do the same thing when it suits.

They were away at Stamford Bridge. Its obvious when West Ham (or any small club) go to Stamford Bridge, Etihad, Old Trafford, Emirates & Anfield they're going to play for a clean sheet first and try to nick one from a set piece/counter attack as they haven't got the quality to go toe to toe with Chelsea or any of those other teams.

because we got cheated, not by Chelsea admittedly, but the officials shafted us.

we could have got 3 pts if they was down to 11 men for 89 mins.

<laugh> he deflects one in against the worst team in the league whereas Suarez makes an interception on the halfway line and turns it into a goal and Sturidge is scoring at least a goal every game he plays
