To answer the earlier question. Jim Lucas has replied and says there is a press conference tomorrow, scheduled for the afternoon.

    No specific time, yet.

Isn't that just our usual pre match press conference though?

Yeah, it's just not set in stone yet, as to when the manager will be available for it.

Usual press conference but it gives an opportunity for us to find out a bit more about what our plans for the next 48 hours are. Friday has been ruled out by Peach and others because we are travelling to London then, but surely Poch or whoever is needed could stay behind and join up with the rest of the squad when possible, not really a big issue.

Perhaps Juve would be kind enough to send us Llorente.

Perhaps the guy moonlights as a player agent!
It used to be the Daily Fail, trying to sell our players. Now the Mirror has decided to take up the challenge.

Swansea (& the Mirror!) can p*ss off!
Corky has been our best player over the last month or so and doesn't anyone list to our Owner or our manager when they say our players are NOT FOR SALE

    £3m for Cork is derisory.

£3m for Cork? But he's better than Michael Carrick so he's got to be worth around £18m.

Right so Arsenal are gonna take Vucinic, so that leaves us with Eder? Quagliarella? Damiao?(!) There's hardly been a strong rumour on who it could be.

It is but if an offer of £8m was placed for Cork I wouldn't blame Saints for accepting it.

That would be far more like it, I'd hate to see what we would have been like during Wanyama's absence if it wasn't for Cork though.

I know, but now Wanyama's back, I wouldn't be gutted if Cork was sold for the right price. Although not now as we need him for cover.

Cork's worth more to us than anyone is liable to pay, methinks. In that respect, Wanyama's injury wasn't the worst thing...allowed Cork to get some significant action ahead of the window, so there's no real concern about Cork wanting a move to get playing time.

Even if Wanyama comes back into the team I don't think Pochettino can ignore Cork anymore, he seized his chance so well I think he'll still get far more time than we have been used to. It's a shame for Cork that Schneiderlin is one of the fittest footballers I have ever watched, considering the way he plays it's ridiculous that he never seems tired. Reduces Cork's chances of sub appearances dramatically.

I would! He's an important player and we don't need the money that badly.
