Not likely. But it's a blankie to hug on this cold and bitter night.....

not a dig mate...just an honest opinion....great season so far but only 3 points ahead of us and just 6 ahead of united...just think you need a bigger cushion

Lol, neither was mine really. That's just been said on our board, minus goal diff yet still in fifth only 3 behind. Strange tight season.

I'm loving it!

Jesus! How ****e have we been tonight! Utterly dreadful.

I know that £ity is a great side, but we've made them look far better than they actually are. We simply do not deserve 4th, and Levy needs to rethink any plans to brazen out the rest of this season without spending big money on a decent striker.

Looks like Chelsea have ****ed up against West Ham, bizarrely. 0-0. Negative Maureen or just a poor performance?

Apparently the linesman is the same guy who ruled out Tiote's effort against City and ruled out Sterling's goal against City despite the fact he was clean onside.

Perhaps someone should check his allegiance.

Well lads we lost this one pretty badly. Thing instantly on my mind now is how Sherwood lifts the team. This is his first real test as the man in charge so he needs to ensure the lads don't let their heads drop and get back to winning ways asap. Let's hope he can do it and quickly. We need to go on another good run.

so was i being negative, or realistic, Flaspur? <laugh>

Seriously?

That's incredible actually, he ought to be sacked. Sterling's goal was so onside it was unreal

Shame the ref spoilt it. That match could have been really good. Man \city taught us a lesson for the first half hour then we were just coming into it despite having a decent goal disallowed. Once Rose was sent off we didn't really stand much of a chance. I'm sure Rose will appeal the sending off and almost certainly win the appeal. Mariner will be relegated to the championship for a couple of games and then be straight back. It makes you want video refs more and more. A video ref would have got the decision right in about half a second there.

That's very suspicious if true <ok>

We just have to forget about this result immediately - it was a freak. City have freakish resources, had a freakish amount of very, very good attackers have a blinder for the first half and then two or three massive decisions went against us. Yeah - we do not have the class that 100s of millions of pounds will buy you. No news there.

Massive gulf in class between us and the top teams but only a slight one between us and Liverpool/Utd etc. Until Utd have RVP, Mata and Rooney all playing that is...

We have no real stand-out players right now, however.
