    Was reported by various Italian sources. The Inter fanatics protested about the deal going ahead and the deal didn't happen.

    Obviously my point was that the Italian media reporting a deal has collapsed doesn't necessarily mean it won't go ahead.

    a shame if Osvaldo goes, very good player who showed just a glimpse of his ability to us. However if club deem it the right thing to do so be it - hope we can get a suitable replacement in.

    @saintsrelated quoting Juve CEO "we like osvaldo he's an excellent player but before buying anyone, we have to sell." Doesn't rule out a loan move I guess but would also suggest they couldn't comit to a permanent deal at this time.

    Ok, news is that Arsenal have agreed a loan deal for Vucinic (tuttosport)

    This will probably give the Osvaldo move the green light.

    Sky Italia now saying Juventus and Saints waiting on Arsenal to complete paperwork tomorrow morning to see Vucinic join Arsenal on loan.

    Then Osvaldo to Juventus, and the new signing in at Saints. Still not a sniff of who it is...

    ...and on PTF's point, I'm glad if it's just a steady-eddie. A downgrade on Osvaldo, yeah probably.

    However, if it is for the best in the dressing room and enables us to line up a target in the summer, that is more than fine by me.
