Of course! I'm sorry if someone has said this, but if we appealed Remy's ban, he'd be able to play at the weekend surely, because the hearing couldn't be done until after. Even if they deemed it frivolous and they gave him an extra game, it wouldn't matter.

This is so obvious I just know the club isn't going to do it. It makes perfect sense.

 

I can't understnd how they (FA) could say it was frivolous
all they (newcastle) would have to do for the defense is to take the dvd of the Shelvey incident with Debouchy
and say where's the difference

your main man Webb and yourselves (FA) thought that was ok

 

But did Shelvey do the pushing that Remy did? (I honestly can't remember). As harsh as it was he could have gone for the pushing alone - think Diaby in the 4-4. It should have been two yellows but both players gave the ref an opportunity to produce red. It was harsh but far enough in the zone to be down to referee's call I think.

 

Any news on our injured players? Will any be available for Saturday?

3 points for the mackems tonight - and out of the relegation zone! Will have their confidence up for the derby. It's going to be a very interesting match this.

 

Derby should be 'interesting' we do not have goal scorer and you goal scorer is banned.

 

Was watching it in the pub, not the most exciting of games.

 

They've had their day, it's back to normal for the Derby.

 

I would have thought you would not want it back to normal are you a masochist or something
