It did look just offside. Despite Eriksen not doing much in open play, his set pieces are unbelievable.

I don't think he's offside, you know. Man in the middle playing him on, for me.

Literally don't think Lennon has touched the ball since I started watching at about 13 minutes.

Let's just agree to do the post-mortems after the match, not halfway through the first bloody half!

Theose Citeh rivals who are not afflicted with slow/sloppy passing will be

We seem to have a Problem Down The Left. How very mid-2000s. Watching Siggy totally commit himself as one of City's attackers drops the slightest of shoulders is verging on cruel. All season long our left has been a weak spot. Rose is questionable but absolutely all of our options for left midfield offer him zero help. It's a huge weak spot for us. And it's not like any of the possible LMs have offered much going forward from there either.

Well done Ade, if someone slides in from behind like that it serves them right!

I'm about 80-90% that it wasn't offside. I suppose what I really mean is that it looks like inches either way, and should have been too close to call.

I think the linesman saw Dawson farther ahead than anyone on his side, when he was almost exactly parallel with the defender in the middle. So if I'm right, it was poor officiating, and I believe Spurs wrongly denied a goal, but as I say I'm not quite certain about that.

    Bentaleb not good enough ATM.

City seem to get a lot of decisions in their favour. Especially the tight calls.

If we can get to halftime with just one goal down, Tim can make the changes needed

Yeah it's not clear cut so you can't really blame the linesman on this one

It seems to me that the only way to shake this lot out of their stride is to really get stuck into them...they don't like it up 'em...

And if he's not sure, then he shouldn't give it. Fairly understandable mistake though, as these things go.

Why has the game been stopped so that Aguero can have a little strop?

Edit: Oh, hang on, he's ****ed. Oops. <whistle>

we did that in the previous fixture this season for the first 20 mins. Then we buckled, obviously.

we've got the ability to get at them, but we simply have to take our chances.
