Eriksen has been just as bad. In fact only Dembele has looked quality as he always does in big games. Adebayor is trying hard but not getting much support.

Sig is clearly not having a good game and exposing Rose's already iffy defending. Sig has to come off. Eriksen needs to drop deep at times. I feel we need a 5 man midfield.
I don't know why everyone is surprised. Sherwood wanted to get us playing "the Spurs way" - that, as I recall, involved us beating the teams below us and getting hammered by those above us. Which is what has happened.
There is a huge gap in quality here. Every one of their front six would walk into our team. Ridiculous.
Christ ... they hit the post on 4 mins, scored on 15 mins, Lloris pulled of a worldly on 20 mins and that looked like a penalty to them on 28 minutes...

At the Etihad, (despite the scoreline) we played really well against them for a big chunk of the first half, they tend to get better in the second half, all quite scary!
And so would most of their bench. I still think if this game came a week later with Sandro, Paulinho and Dembele making up a 5 man midfield with Vertonghen instead of Dawson we would have half a chance.
