That's what I'm saying. There are none, but people act as if £4 mil is a good deal for the backbone of our team. Sure it can buy a good player but can it buy grit and determination?

you are spot on.i never used to be negative infact i was over confident about the boys back in the day

 

100 % I will but as i keeps saying will it happen? All we can go on is the past,Why would Ashley do the right thing for the first time??
All i want is the boys to progress not go backwards.
I stated a few weeks ago Ashley is now at a cross roads and he can either redeem his mistakes or continue screwing the club

I don't have the time to spend all day on here so my apologies for not scrolling down through all the threads.

 

Saying that it's the only the first week of the transfer window is letting the board off the hook.

For example, we've had a few months since the departure of Carroll to get a replacement. One shoud have been found and on Day One of the window he should have signed on the dotted line. Where is he? Oh, he went to Arsenal and other excuses.

We're selling one of our core players, our captain, for goodness' sake! We shouldn't be having our players having their medicals elsewhere without having others having theirs here first.

We're going to stumble through this transfer window with our squad getting thinner and thinner. And then we'll hear "Let's wait until Christmas before we judge".

Wake up people, the club is being sold from under our feet. Yes, there's been a couple of good signings in the past but they would only be for resale investment value rather than for their ability on the pitch.
