they are a decent outfit par se.... i mean in the end any league bar spain is a step up so big fish small pond? at least he's an international... that said it aint too hard. i would back the opinion buying him to go buy him then judge what i see in the prem. sturridge, coutinho, mingolet, sahko v aspas, moses.... put alberto and ilori on the risky kids tab and not flops (yet) since the transfer committee started... 4 are clearly first team (i'll still argue reina with anyone but thats past) if they really think this guy is good enough... back them til you see yourself if he's good or bad. we'll see.
Adam Bellamy ‏@SkyAdamB 54m The word coming out of Paris is that Arsenal have made an enquiry for midfielder Blaise Matuidi. #PSG #AFC If that happens then it makes a mockery of the whole 'midfield targets weren't available' spiel.
Some questions about the legitimacy of the 'Adam Bellamy' twitter account. His profile pic is a stock photo.
PSG threatened Man City over Matuidi saying that if City targeted him they would target their players, and can pay more in wages
Adam Bellamy has 150 followers he's a fraud ffs. He's also been quoting a Knoplyanka twitter account that doesn't even exist
Newcastle sign Netherlands striker Luuk De Jong from Borussia Monchengladbach on loan until end of season with view to permanent move. #SSN Once linked with him too back in the hodgson days. Decent in FIFA and was in the dutch team when he was at Twente. That is about it on what I know about him! lol. Think he has been OK in Germany.
We pretty much just established that. The Konoplayanka twitter account is there though. Whether it's real or not is another matter...
Spurs reported to have offered 15mil http://ua.tribuna.com/football/1010224047.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
"This became known Tribuna.com from sources close to the Russian side of the transaction . " Tottenham " ready to pay 15 million pounds in the contract Ukrainian as the sum for which the "Dnepr" is obliged to let him go ."
Off The Post: Tottenham have launched a last-gasp attempt to beat Liverpool to the signing of Dnipro winger Yevhen Konoplyanka, according to reports in the Ukrainian media. The Tribuna newspaper claims that Spurs have now joined the race for the 24-year-old. The reports suggest that they are preparing to meet a £15m buy-out clause in his contract. Reports earlier today suggested that the Reds had agreed a fee to sign the Ukraine international and had offered him a four-and-a-half year contract. Liverpool’s bid was rumoured to be €18m (around £14.85m). If they prove to be correct, the latest developments will be of huge frustration to Liverpool, who have already seen Chelsea launch a late bid to pip them to the signature of previous transfer target Mohamed Salah. And if the figures being thrown around by the Ukrainian media are accurate, Reds fans will be furious if they miss out with a bid £150,000 below a release clause. Manager Brendan Rodgers will be desperate to get this one over the line having promised supporters a big signing before the transfer window closes.
Would be made up if we got Konoplyanka. I was about to make a thread last night about which two players could push us on for CL football, given we had two days to make them happen. I would have wrote Kono and Fernando (The octopus). Brilliant player, lightning fast feet and would link up well with what we have. Well regarded in Ukraine as a serious talent. Would just mean we've always got options in the forward line to cover injuries or poor form, and gives us options to freshen up a stalemate game. Yarmolenko (no idea how to spell his name) is another wide forward we've been linked too and looked at over the last year, but Kono is the better player imo. Fernando is the guy we need in midfield though. He's just everywhere, always in the right spot to get a foot in and his passing isn't half bad either! Get on it, Ayre. Two players to push us on and neither would cost the world. Flanno is back - he's good enough to cover both flanks at the same time.
" Reds fans will be furious if they miss out with a bid £150,000 below a release clause." i do hope this is not the reason if we don't end up getting him, other wise i will be calling them a lot more than penny pinching batards.
