.....yes i am gutted about our last 2 defeats and the manner in which we lost of course, But deep down did we REALLY think we would get anything from these games?

We are our own worse enemies for getting carried away after a good few results and thinking that all of a sudden we have became one of the best teams in the division and we just have to turn up against anyone and we'll win or draw because of how we have done recently!

We are in the bottom 2-3 for a reason its not going to be easy or quick to turn things around and get out of it, if we do that anyway>

Only afew games away before Wolves and Brentford everyone was chipper about SC and the team and the chances we are making, but 2 very very difficult away games later ( i know about the bad performance) and we are rubbish overnght!

I just wonder if one of the biggest problems lately has arisen from the signing of AEA?Why? because he maybe and become a great player for us, but hes been here 5 mins and played every game after warming the bench or not even getting in the squad at all at Brighton!!!!!
    This surely doesnt make sense?
Is it due to this the defence looks shaky now? i know you'll all say that he has to play to get match fit and sharpness and to get to know his fellow defensive partner, but he could of played as a sub if the games allowed in the last 10-15 and played in the reserves to get to know how the club works and plays couldnt he?

One worry i do have is to do with what SC said in his post game interview about hitting it long all night to TB, this was what happened to our footballing team under GJ when we signed Adebola and looked what happened then! But i am encouraged by SC showing he was disappointed for 1 in doing that and in 2 for us not playing football/his way, which i hope means he will be letting them know very strongly in no uncertain terms during this weeks training/meeting so it doesnt happen again.

Finally, yes i am worried and down but lets NOT get carried away thinking we are better than we are, lets continue getting behind the team as we have done superbly in the last couple of months and hope our luck and position changes sooner rather than later.

Forget the result, it isn't the result it's expecting professionalism, expecting effort and not seeing it.

An example of Citys tactics whenh being outplayed and outsmarted. Last night Brenford must have put together twenty five passes, Brentfords fans lauded it, when City finally got it back it was launched back to Brentford within four or five touches Citys fans cringed.

Progress has been made under Cotterill that's for sure. This was 2 tough away games and we talked before about the performance being important - well we got one good one at Wolves and a poor one at Brentford (though both results exactly the same)

However we are still in the mire and need to start winning home games now.

PS - Andy you only posted this at 2.30 - let the guys see it tonight when they return from work

    This

We all expected 0 points from both games, just wished we actually put in decent performances, rather than being utterly useless

Don't get disenchanted with this site redandy as it is our chance to voice our opinions despite what we say about our team. I think the word disenchantment can be linked to everything about Bristol City and even more appropriate when it comes down the lack of action taken to solve the issues that have been stinking out the joint for too many seasons.

    Keep the posts coming man!

The next game is soooooo important - we need a win. Anything will do but a good old fashioned 4-0 win would set us back on track

Come on Redandy, I expect 90% agree with every word of your post.
But the misery has now lasted longer at City than I can ever remember, so it is only to be expected that as many of us are so despondent about the fate and state of our club, we are going to let off steam after another inglorious performance. I for one don't see any light at the end of the tunnel at this moment. But come Saturday, I'll be there hoping and willing them to win.

Cheer up Andy, it's only a silly game.....

A team giving their all and still losing a match is forgivable. A team lacking any ambition or skill is not.

We the supporters deserve better than this, and I hope our players show the fans some respect come 15.00 on Saturday and give it everything they have, because if we can't beat the likes of Carlisle at home then we deserve to plumb the depths of the football pyramid which we will if we continue to throw away chances of survival.

Below half way, this is a really terrible division and if we cant get out of this mess we've fashioned for ourselves then it serves us right.

The clock is ticking boys, the clock is ticking
