Poor old Jack, his time will come... There was that moment in the dying minutes of the Arsenal game, where I think Davis slotted a straight ball through to someone just on the edge of the six yard box with room to let it roll in front of them and get a shot away... The stream I was watching was somewhat fuzzy and on first sighting I thought it was Lallana and he was a certainty to win the game, then there was an uncharacteristic tangle of feet as he tried to take a touch and that's when I saw the number 18 on his back and my heart sank as Corky dutifully muffed it. I'm sure once he gets one the floodgates will open!
I have been told that there is an idiot on TSW who says we should get shot of Jack Cork [not you, Tom]. Obviously the concept of squad rotation has eluded him/her. Personally, I think it could be high time that Cork was partnered with VW to see how they go. I'm sure it has been tried in training.
What a game that was . May have been unlucky not too take all 3 points but that was a great team effort.we looked very very good.proberly one of the most exciting games i have watched in a while
Well, thank goodness you're not the manager:big grin: Maybe, Cork will never score but he initiates every attack. Theoretically, he and Wanyama should compliment each other perfectly. I said, way back in this thread, that I just don't understand why people always talk of Cork OR Wanyama. They are completely different types of player. Shame for Cork that he was square of Gallagher when he scored against Yeovil, a short pass and it would have been a tap-in. Maybe Gallagher knew what he was doing!
Don't agree PTF . Brighton had stuff posted in the away dressing room when we played them that season ( yes I do think it was Poyets idea ) , also his team managed to get Lambert's first red in his entire career , yes he is a professional ( and perhaps some would argue he should have been above it ) , but it all strikes me as a little dirty . Call it mind games or what ever , but I don't agree with it .

Have been looking at the gallery on the OS, pictures 29 to 31 worry me a bit, evidence of demonic possession, or just that the Saints are hot? http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/gallery-leaders-held-at-st-marys-1324364.aspx
No 5 worries me. I think Adam has had lessons from Dani. Poor JRod slinks away after being slapped by Lallana.
For once I see Wenger actually paid us some compliments instead of blaming everything else for their failure to win.
Wenger said it was a point gained and not two lost. Knowing that everyone listening had seen the game, he could hardly claim anything else. Tbf, he has praised us before.
