Will he really be worth £300,000 a week when he is 31?

Especially with his weight, drink and fitness issues. And he has been playing from an early age.

And you've just signed another £40m no 10 to go along with Fellaini, who can also play central attacking midfield

That is a £200m investment in wages and fees on central AMs

    Wont be a problem.

Hes 28 years old, we have RvP at 30/31 who will be phased out over the next few years. Rooney will move forward to the number 9 role and Mata ( 25 ), Januzaj (18) and kagawa ( 24 ) will share the role behind. If kagawa goes then we have powell as well.

Right now, Rooney in the middle, Kagawa, Mata, Januzaj fight for the 2 positions either side. Neither are wingers though and wont be played as such.

Hmmm must be a similar amount to what you lot have spent on managers over the last few years, it's ok though fortunately the club makes money.

What does John Terry gt paid? £200k isnt it?

What exactly does he do these days besides nothing?

I'm confident Rooney will bring more to United at 31 than JT does now.

Will that make you a bit narrow?

I always preferred us last season with Moses instead of Oscar or Mata.

We were very narrow with Mata Oscar Hazard.

If you have great attacking FBS...Cafu or Alves it is not a problem

Weve got rafael and Evra right now. Evra certainly is a far better attacker than fullback.

Also I think nrrow will work for us, it did last season to great effect.

He's been Utd's best player this season, also Mata's and RvP's wages won't be far behind his.

I'm not disputing the guys talent, I just don't agree that any one player is bigger than the club. I genuinely don't believe Rooney has ever wanted to leave, he's just trying to squeeze more and more wages out of the club. It's the same game Ronaldo was playing with Real Madrid last summer.

RVPs wages are the same as Rooney's now, whilst Mata's are a lot less than both. Rooney's proposed new figure would be more than double that of Mata:biggrin:
